you are welcome. I have this unit for 10 years now and still working great. there are other products you can use to clean the blades on it. i still do the cleaning the same as in the video. other than that unit is running great.
Do you have an update on how well this worked? I have the same issue with my air handler. The fan blades are completely covered in dirt and the whole unit froze up.
Are you able to access the drain pan? I tried on mine it looks different than others where the pan is visible from opening the front cover. I just sprayed my evap coil down with cleaner to get rid of dirty sock syndrome. It is draining out of the condensation line I can smell it outside. Just wanted to wipe the drain pan.
Hi my unit is petty clean I would have to take it apart to get to the drain pan but no reason to open it at this time since I keep it really clean . The drain line when the unit is on drains well and it’s clean water . So far the unit is doing well . There is no issue with my unit right Now :
Not a waste of time ! If you’re not a handy person then yes . I got it cleaned no issues . Can’t judge until you do it or experience it for yourself it’s like anything that you purchase it always needs maintenance and some kind of cleaning that’s why people put up videos what they’ve done to help you take care of the problems that you my face so it’s not a waste of time
Muscles Mouse hi there is no issue with my location of the head unit no water is coming in . That's water I used to clean the fan blade that's what the video is about. The head unit is not on my door way going outside its in my small hallway to the restroom and bedroom . It faces the living room . The Drain line runs down to the floor into a pcv to let the waste drain when the unit is running ! But the water you see is water I sprayed to clean the fan blades
@Muscles Mouse lol wtf? That’s water from cleaning not condensation. No split duct should be leaking water that bad regardless of install location. Lol
