I guess it's time for our annual, obligatory cleaning video-this seems to come around every year when the desk gets a little bit too messy for me to want to make art on it.
Thankfully, today we are cleaning the desk surface (not the interior, I went through that recently!) to make it all nice and ready to use for next week! Lets get organized together!

I ADORE your Easter gnome painting. ♥ I can't wait until you try the Neocolor IIs - I love mine. You should definitely decorate the box in some way - that would be a fun video for us to watch. The "another dark blue" and "another purple" cracked me up. I also just cleaned my studio, which happens to be the topic of tomorrow's video, ironically. Loved yours.

Ahh, the old annual desk clean-up! I am sure mine must be due for this too. Well, my entire studio really; I’ve been looking at it for a few months, thinking “maybe next week”. That is still not even close to happening! 😂 The Neocolor 2’s are so much fun to use, and I think easier than oil pastels and possibly even watercolour pencils. They’re so smooth! Maybe you could paint and decorate the wooden box? That’s always fun to do. Nice organising, I’m sure it’s great to have a neat and tidy desk again. ❤

Yes, every year my desk manages to become a tornado😂 the desk cleanup vid is obligatory! Your studio would definitely take a while to organize since it’s so large, that might be a two-parter! I’d love it though! All I hear are good things about the Neocolor IIs! While I want to paint the wooden box, right now the wood is matching and so I might save it for a later project😂 perhaps if I decide to move and “remodel” the desk corner👀

Wish you luck keeping everything organized. When my pens go bad, especially the Sakura finaliners, I keep them. Sometimes I don't always want good lines, when I want like the line equivalent of a dry brush. It's also liberating to go havoc with these dead pens because usually you have to be careful with the nibs, and now you don't have to. I just indicate with an X and put them away in a coffee can.

Thank you! And that’s a fun idea. Fineliners could create some interesting effects! The gel type of pens, not so much. When they dry up, they just create indents! However that could be useful too..

Hiya Alexis! long time listener, first time poster! have you ever heard of the restaurant chilis?? I have written a detailed outline describing a proposal. So you are there, you get interviewed and you go through the hiring process, and pose as a chef, BUT not just any chef, like you dont know anyTHING! about cooking. So from there the hilarity ensues....... you try to fry salad, you make a sandwich with scrambled eggs as the bread, you burn everything, maybe pour water all over every plate that you serve with the food on it, and then at the end of it all.... you get frustrated and storm out of the kitchen. Think about it, sincerely your biggest fan, the mickster.
