Not a great video, but if I am in the shop I bring you guys along, bought this set for less than a dollar at the pawn shop, someone took the time to make this, so I cleaned it up and now ready to use!
Them fiber wheels really are awesome! I got the set of them from Amazon and use them all the time. Thanks for the video as always. Till the next one! 🤝
Thats an awesome set! Who ever owned it was proud and wanted it to last forever! I wish I/you/we knew what the original case looked like and what happened to it! Wondering if he bought it new or put it together piece by piece! Gotta love wondering about the history of some of these tools! Thanks for sharing!!!
I watched soo many videos where people are using wire wheel to clean their files and then shortly after they become useless. 24hrs in vinegar and a gentle wire brushing is all that is needed to clean the file. Also, HCL/Muriatic acid is excellent for sharpening the files.
Get yourself some Boeshield T-9 or some CRC SP-350 and give them a nice coating. They leave behind a clear, soft, waxy film that will block rust and won't interfere with using them.
@@djstoolrestorations Amazon, MSC, and Zoro all have it. Amazon confuses the issue by displaying the full carton price in search results. They do sell single cans if you go to the detail page.
