Are you fed up with expensive cable TV or satellite TV bills? I price haggled with cable and satellite TV providers for several years and was able to negotiate acceptable monthly rates. However, I recently learned that my "acceptable rates" were still too expensive. Since I've made the switch to free over-the-air television, I couldn't be happier! There was a small initial investment for quality OTA HDTV equipment but that's much better than continuing to pay a monthly cable television or satellite television bill. Glad I found your channel and am now subbed. Great review. I purchased the 4V version that comes with VHF/UHF. It's supposed to be here on Friday and I can't wait! Also, that was hilarious when your cat video bombed you haha.

I have this antenna; using it indoors. The antenna I replaced worked well, but there were occasional dropouts. After installing the Clearstream 4, I found myself getting channels I didn't even knew existed. I pulled in over 100 DTV channels, both UHF, and hi-band VHF. Our local ABC and Fox stations are on channels 10 and 9, respectively. The Clearstream 4 didn't come with the element for hi-VHF channels, but I find I don't need it. The antenna picks them up flawlessly. Miami just got its first NextGen TV channels, and they come in quite well. My Samsung TV has the ATSC 3.0 tuner onboard. I'm more than happy with this antenna, and I highly recommend it.

I just replaced a 40 year old Radio Shack antenna I had my roof with the Clearstream 4 and to my surprise I picked up 8 additional channels I hadn't received before. The reception is great and the picture has greatly improved over the old antenna I was using.

I have the "single" version of this and I absolutely love it and recommend it to everyone. I did tie in a drop amp to the coaxal line down in the laundry room which improved it greatly! Mine is also in attic and after reviewing the DTV Reception Map it looks like my zip code puts me in the 3 of 4 bar range.

Truth and Quality. Practical and Useful Information. I see that antenna has only the UHF channels loops. Also available is the VHF channels reception rods. The , 2MAX and 4MAX now come as standard with the VHF channels reception rods. The , 2MAX and 4MAX do not have the reflector screen , the screen is now optional.

I have read that it still needs to be grounded since it can create static and attract lightning.

Be a good idea that if your going this route of putting an antenna in a attic, that you drip loop your cable at the tap in connection, number one, and number two tack the cable neatly into the rafters and away from a possible, accidental pulling of the cable itself from the tap in source on the antenna, loosing all picture quility.

I ordered the clearstream 4max antenna also but what if you want to connect to multiple tvs? what 3way or 4 way splitter is recommended? i also ordered the juice amp. Do you go from the "Tv receiver" out on the juice amp to the 3 or 4 way splitter then to the tv?

I currently have this same antenna on my house now, works great unless the weather is bad. But my question for you is, if I am to put another one on the next house would it work just as good in the attic of the neighboring house? Or would you suggest putting it outside?

Outside is always going to be better. I would have mounted outside, if the homeowner's association didn't disallow.

They have one that includes VHF. It's the Antennas Direct ClearStream 4V...... The V is what means it's VHF. I just ordered it

Can this antenna be connected directly to one tv? I think you mentioned you used a DVR and also Firestick in the comments. No internet or DVR is available where I want to use this antenna! Thanks for your help!

The one TV would need to have the Fire Stick 4K inserted into the HDMI port. For DVR, FireTV Recast can be connected for this TV and/or additional TVs with FireStick 4K that you may add in the future. You may also have good luck connecting directly to the TV but I have not tested that and the experience will likely feel like “old school” TV flipping channels LOL

@@IrixGuy Thank you for getting back with me. This is for my parents who have Dish but only have it on one TV because it became to expensive for all tv's. They don't have internet and I didn't know Fire Stick would work without that. Their tv is relatively new I'm sure it has more than one HDMI port. They are probably use to flipping channels. lol Thanks again for you help!
