Very nice! Great job on this documentary. Queen Cleopatra was a very strong woman and ruler. In that day and age to hold yourself as an equal to men and male conquerors must have been a constant challenge. I hope we can find her tomb and put the final pieces together.

This comment is not to discredit people who say Cleopatra wasn't of European decent, because I am black myself and know she wasn't black. Cleopatra's family were descendants of Alexander's general Ptolemy I Soter who colonized Egypt in around 290 B.C. And to the archaeologist on this documentary whose last name is "Rashad" you're not dark at all, to blacks, you are just tanned but still fair skinned, I am actually dark, I'm dark chocolate as coffee grains.(you're not dark until you're dark as chocolate or coffee grains) Also your statement was WRONG about the African continent has always been multi racial. You're probably of Arabic decent and leaving a huge omission from the narrative. The African continent is synonymous with the BLACK RACE who are descendants from Ham, one of Noah's sons who populated that entire continent after the Biblical Deluge/flood. Africa didn't start becoming multi racial until the Arabic cultures from Asia and Europe who are descendants of Shem and Japheth, Noah's 2 other sons who populated the Asia minor (Turkey)Europe and the rest of Asia COLONIZED AND SUBDUED AFRICA!!!!!!! Fact is,most non black races think they're better than blacks and will discredit any inkling of greatness from Africa associated with blacks which is deceptive,wicked, and evil. Until the original and REAL Africans narrate their own history and control their own politics,your enemy will always narrate the story "they want" people to hear and omit the history of the ethnic native inhabitants of that land.

Why is everyone affirming that Cleopatra is not black? Everyone in Africa is black with skin tones varying from light brown to black (ex Nubians) the difference I see is that Nubians have straight hair with fine face features on the other hand most Egyptians have frizzy hair and not so fine face features ex: large nose large teeth and mouth like the Greeks who have a light skin but they are not Caucasians who descent from northern Turkey. I doubt very much that Cleopatra is Caucasian.
