SHARUR IS NOT BUGGED! So anybody wondering about the Sharur bit in hamlet. It is NOT BUGGED and working as intended! I just wasn't aware of its special properties (never use maces or Sharur) For those that want to know Sharur helps to boost the mana regen to a cap of 300% Beyond 300% Sharur will not grant any MP regen bonuses. This is different to other items like the wraith's cloak, Vampire Doublet or shaman's mask which can boost the regen to beyond that. Thanks for watching and stay awesome!
I believe its due to the FOV, I play on max. So slightly more vision along the sides and a little bit of a warped perspective. Let me know if this helps you out or if I need to look into it some more!
What all do you get out of going to the underworld? It barely seems worth the xp/loot for the time/damage you take completing it on top of it being annoying without levitation?
It depends on your personal preferences. I rarely lose a run after gnomes and the underworld so for me its about the fun and excitement. Its also part of my current speedrun route, so I try to get in some practice during normal runs. As for if its worth it. You can find high tier spellbooks. Extra Healing / Levitation as well as trolls blood / healing. Those are very worth if you did go. The exp is also amazing assuming you are able to dodge the fireballs and not get caught off guard. You can go from level 5/6 to level 18 by just clearing the two levels and its pretty fast too. But Its really not a easy zone to clear out especially if you are a newer player. Even I die there, in fact I did in my last run. But its all part of the fun for me. Hence I say its personal preference. Honestly you can skip gnomes and the underworld and still be strong enough to beat the game even with a party of 4 so if you don't feel up to it then skip it :)
