"I wonder what the level of difference is there between me (~100 hrs, 1 victory) and 1000hrs of playtime" *Dies in the gnome mines* "He's just like me Fr Fr"
hahaha this was great :D If anything I'd say speed, consistency and tactics. But ultimately RNG, bad choices or general mistakes can just as easily end a run. You should take a look at my speedrun video and see the section of gnomes. But even so I've recently been trying to do wanderer speedruns and found that I can consistently get to herx around 17 minutes, but that said gnomes is much harder with wanderer compared to ninja.
Thanks Hugh! More content coming soon! I'll be releasing a basic guide for each class and then each race, general combat guides, floor guides, speedrun guides and of course some extra streaming content! Challenges Hardcore and more :D i'm really hyped about it just been very distracted IRL the last few weeks
I really enjoy your insights, great voice as well, the new UI looks fantastic and makes handling things way better. What would you say is the best character for solo play? Liked and subbed, keep it up :)
Thanks MD! More content coming soon, just been having some RL troubles thats been taking up almost all my time, but will continue making guides and streams soon enough! As for your question to the best character for solo play. I think the strongest stats in the game is Str + Con so a monk, ninja or warrior (Ninja is my personal favorite as I start off using shuriken in the first 2 floors while gathering all the bronze / iron swords and go full melee after saving the crystal sword for after floor 8 (usually have legendary in swords at this point) You also have tons of utility to take on pretty much everything and ontop of the str / con you also get dex making you ZOOM across the map). Melee damage scales the best and having extra AC to tank everything and never die gives you a really OP feeling. Having said that - The real best character would be the one you have the most fun with. At the end of the day its a roguelike its short and we're just trying to have a good time!
Hey Lyciant! After playing Monk a bunch of times to get a feel for him, I finally beat the game for the first time! :D Eventhough it took me a total of 8 hours over 3 days and a lot of experimenting lol Super fun game, time to explore more characters and secrets :)
hey, if you haven't figured it out yet, there's an option for some kind of artificial mouse smoothing that you can turn off. This helped my mouse input feel a lot better.
I have tried messing around with it! The smoothing, the accuracy, the speed and everything trying to solve the issue. I even went and changed windows mouse settings of accuracy and smoothing. So far haven't really found a solution :< not quite sure what causes it it happen.
Hey Goofier, there has recently been a new patch and I haven't had too much experience with it, but from the little time I did get it didn't seem to be a problem for me anymore! I suggest taking a look into the controls section of barony and disabling the "Smooth Mouse" option, or you could look at your windows mouse settings and disable the "Enhance pointer precision" Let me know if this helps you out!
Hi StalkCon, the UI is not a mod. It is part of the quality of death Beta. You can opt into it via your steam library -> Right Click Barony -> options -> betas -> Quality of Death. Enjoy :)
@@LyciantYT yeah a bit of both really. Personally I would generally never look at a channels livestreams due to the content/quality of these however your streams have the feel of a curated video (are awesome basically) so would be minimal effort on your part. It might just be me and seem like a small thing but like I say I don't think people generally look at peoples older livestreams as much as a video released on the channel if you know what I mean? Sorry I don't know if my point is coming across well here lol and the more I type the more I feel it might just be a me thing haha
@@LyciantYT Also did you ever figure out what the mouse thing was about as I have a very beefy PC but still have the weird mouse movements and the fps drops sometimes ^^ you aren't alone!
Haha nah i understand you :) i honesrly thought about creating short form vids +-30 minutes long from the streams. I never really considered adding them as videos, but i do add them all to a playlist which is at the top of the channel home page. Food for thought. Ill have to think about it :) As far as the mouse thing. I believe some nvidea setting is messing with it! I kind of fixed it, but cant say for sure what, why or how. Hopefully you have better luck tracking it down.
