A huge star in England yet I hear he’s a humble guy and a perfect gentlemen. It’s a shame that those qualities had people ignorantly speculating that he was gay at that time. I’m glad he didn’t feel the need to be a misogynist or an asshole to prove people wrong

43 years ago this song was a mega hit a masterpiece with best ever Cliff Richard.. and now in 2023 it's still rocking, still a masterpiece! Cliff has everything.. he's beautiful song, amazing voice..wow!! I love the song, can listen to it over and over and over.. never get tired.. It's timeless..
I agree. It is also one of my favourites. In his masterfully crafted songs, Sir Cliff conveys a wide range of emotions thanks to the music, the lyrics, the harmonies and his beautiful vocals. You guys, don't forget, this music is awesome, but also it's a comeback for Cliff. In the early 60s, he would sometimes front for Hank Marvin & the Shadows, who were otherwise a fantastic instrumental band. When they were all together, they were Cliff Richard & the Shadows. Check out tunes like Summer Holiday Apache The Young Ones and I'm sure there are more than that, I just can't think of titles.
It was amazing to see him live in Edmonton, Alberta. He got ovations and then carried a chair to the front of the stage. He sat down, played guitar, sang and interacted with a dedicated audience. Sir Cliff Richards it is and thank you for the incredible music. I am older than dirt now and here I am again listening to incredible music.

So reminds me of my happy childhood. Would have been 9/10 when this came out. My mum was a massive Cliff fan. This is one of my favourites along with ‘We don’t talk anymore’ and ‘Carrie’. All of them great tunes and so easy to listen to.
You know this great talent. Did not make it for years. He was always good and was known a little here in the USA. But when he got these few songs. Then he got major famous. My point is. He’s a very hard worker he never gave up. I admire the man

Wow this song only hit #17 on Billboard hot 100. What a great pop song. This song came out about the time I really fell in love for the first time. It was so appropriate in my life then.

This song was released 1981 a year later I’m on a weeks holiday with my younger brother 1st week in August 1982 , sitting as it was then the Tower lounge Blackpool ( Now Harry Ramsdens ) and this single was playing I close my eyes and whoosh it’s 41 years ago, time is fleeting my old dad was right gif bless him .

This song reminds me of 1st week in August 1982 the year after it was released . Instead of going on a lads holiday I went to Blackpool with my younger brother I was 19 he was 15 one evening we were out sun blazing we were sitting in the Tower lounge Blackpool and this song playing thru speakers not loud just like background music . Whenever I hear it my mind flashes back to that night me and my wee brother sitting laughing then Whooosh I’m 61 he’s 57 lol where have the years went.
Now this is when music was really music and enjoyable! It really takes me back to my fun junior high school days, when that was fun! Cliff was and still is one of the very best in the music industry!
