Cliff Top Running | Rat Race Man V Coast 

I love how after 6 hours of climbing over every rock in SW England, then spending the next few days cycling as hard as you can, and deadlifting heavy weights, there's an "easy 10k with the dog" later. I'm working on just the 10k part (actually 5k to start), but this is all inspiring. I appreciate your videos. They are inspiring.

Awesome video, I've run this race 2 times, and it's been brutal and beautiful, I managed to get cramp in both calfs each time about 20 miles in 😆 I'm signing up for 2024 💪

I dont understand why this channel doesnt have more subs... You are funny and motivating at the same time. I am usually very picky about what I am gonna watch in my free time. I hope that maybe this weight loss thing gonna blow up. People love before and after stuff. Or maybe you have to let Nixon choose your next race or something. :D

I was on Sundays race...the moors were so boggy thanks to u lot on a Saturday lol. I retired at 20.5 miles. (In the valley were the photographer was after checkpoint 3 ) I did so well to get there as my fear of heights (which is worse above water) was tested. But everyone on course is loverly. I woukd recommend this. Great to see your video. The moment u said u loved out of the Moor and running to the path I hated...that's when the fear was getting to me alot.

I was walking the SW coast path the day before and during race day (I was ahead thankfully). I was walking the north coast section of the course through Zennor down to Lands End, it was extremely hard going just walking! Props to these guys (The aid station lady gave me a banana as I passed up the 1KM vert run just past Cape Cornwall). I watched the start of Sundays race while I was at Marazion, a great sight to behold. Though I did wonder if many of these people knew what they had let themselves in for :) I may sign up next year :D Well done to you.

Great video and channel. How you managed some of that course with a camera in your hand is beyond me. I ran on Sunday. Also couldn’t resist the spreadsheet - 4hrs 31 put me in top 2% (but it’s not about the results 👀).

Hi Mark love the channel definitely my sense of humour and the roast of triathlon Dan was a masterclass. Also great to have a channel for us big guys although I'm definitely in the below average class although do have two IM finishes to my name. I promise the last 5k of the run is the biggest ego boost you can get so enjoy Hamburg. Have you seen the white wolf swim in Cardiff! I'm doing it end of April. Basically swim against the rapids at the White water centre, challenge is to see how many of the 5 sections you can swim up through. Also doing the world's Steepest Run in Harlech which at my current weight of 112kg is also probably the world's stupidest idea.

Very much enjoy the eclectic nature of your channel. I was thinking about this video on Saturday when out on my bike I encountered runners on the St Cuthbert’s Way ultra from Trail Outlaws. Talked to a few people on the race and they said it was a Nice route running a long distance walking path with the added challenge of beating the tide to get across to Holy Island. Sounds like a challenge you like!

Hi Mark Recently found your channel and loving the content. I did this race aswell and your right about the crap on the rocks towards the end. Killer. You missed a awesome challenge in the lakes the following week, weather was so hot people were dropping like flies and they had to extend the cut off by a hour so people could finish. Shame Man vs Mountain got cancelled, have you rebooked for Sept 22? potential see you there 👍🏼 keep up the great videos, keeps me motivated and spending money (6month sproker has all his running kit ready for when he's older 😅)

hey mate loved your take on the race, I have just uploaded my video of the race, I wasn't as quick as you my time was 8 hours 23 around that time. amazing race and amazing views. and you missed a crazy one at man vs lakes that was a hot one think we lost a lot of people with the heat on that one..... and so so so gutted man vs mountain was canceled I got my trilogy medal in 2019 and now I am one segment short for 2021, you planning on doing any of the rat races in 2022? man vs lakes 2021 was there last one. well loved the video mate have now subscribed to you and will watching your videos from now on.
