@@eduardoandrade6407 A true Hero in-fuckin-deed,I have spent the last 2 HOURS sitting in my garage smoking bowls searching for the name of the song 😂😂😂😂
@@jaymoore5407 i started playing it two weeks ago, its fantastic, from the outside it looks like a walking simulator but the gameplay loop is fun, calming and relaxing, until the BT's show up that is, and then its tense and nerve wracking, the visuals are stellar, the story is complex and intriguing as played out by an amazing cast and there its lots of information to figure out as always in a kojima game. 10/10 would play again, and i cant wait for DS2
I think it's because he understands that soldiers, more than most people, become touched by superstition/the supernatural when they are in war. Something about all the death, sorrow, rage, and fear can cause the human mind to see or hear things that aren't always there; or sometimes they are. Nobody will believe them either way.
@@AliveLegendSSSrankI always thought it was kinda of a physical representation of his moral compass. He is doing the right thing but using whatever means necessary even if they aren't inherently "good" methods. So his moral compass is spinning out of control. Just my interpretation tho.
This game felt like a movie and it was so slow paced wich is why i loved it!! It took me out of my comfort element of Apex Legends,God Of War,GTA,NBA2k majority fast paced games. This game and collab by all these amazing actors and 2 producers,creators..Guillermo Del toro and Hideo Kojima is legendary.
It's funny how Kojima, Norman Reedus, and Mads Mikkelson are in so many random pictures. A great videogame producer and writer and 2 top tier celebrities
Cliff Unger AKA Mads Mikkelsen was the most underrated and badass character in Death Stranding. He was an anti-villain but all of his moves, lighting cigarette in air, his skeleton soldiers were done as fk. One of the most favourite character in the game
It bothers me that so many people hated on this game, at first I didn’t buy it because what people said but being a huge mgs fan I had too and it just made me so mad how people hated on it, it’s really good, it’s different and I loved every second of it
@@TheWarriors1515 Kojima has already shared images of Mads at the studio in Japan which is pretty indicative that he will be in game, though likely only in some cutscenes or something
Gameplay is awesome too, there are many reasons to play this game. Ill admit though, Cliff's arc was the main thing that brought the story together for me on first playthrough.
@@dellahank To be fair, I am also biased. I understand Cliff because I am a veteran myself. The drive to never let go and finish whatever task you set out to complete, especially the defence of those who mean the most to you really speaks to me. When you look at it, his love for his son and his desire to save him made it where through sheer will alone, he was able to deny his own death and raise hell on earth to get his son back. When he realised that his son grew to be a man who is just as tenacious as he is, that brought him joy and peace. He was finally able to cross over to the other side fully after being able to say goodbye. Also, because of the way Sam’s arc with Lou played out, I believe Kojima left a clue that Sam was following in his father’s footsteps without realising it. I believe that Lou is the child that Sam lost, hence the records of BB-28 being erased completely. Bridget knew the truth, and concealed it to prevent a repeat of what happened with Cliff.
@@darkstarmobile I appreciate your thoughtful response and insight. I hope I didn't come across as lessening Cliff's impact. The two reasons I love this game are the Sam-Cliff story and the relaxing, positive and meaningful gameplay. The way you explain his character brought back some of the strong emotions felt when first experiencing this game. Also, I agree with the parallels you described for Sam's arc and BB-28 being Sam's lost child. It would make sense with the way bridges were stringing him along and the setup for Sam finally being with his child in DS2
@@dellahank oh not at all! I was just expanding on some early morning thoughts. You’re all good mate. And another thought just hit me. Bridges strung Sam along. A string in a strand that comprised the rope.
@@darkstarmobile Yep you're right. Kojima did such a great job with keeping the themes present in every layer of the story. Love the way DS2 seems to be expanding the world and story. I think the dark aspects of Bridges will be prevalent in DS2, along with how Amelie and Higgs have been working together.
