How to get out of a Stall? - Reduce the throttle and only use your rudder against the spinning direction. Once your nose points towards the ground give more throttle again.
Check out my other Combat Tricks on my Channel in the Playlist: "Combat Moves".
I am showing a simple trick to get into a stall and right out of it again. This may cause an enemy on your tail to "overshot" or loose you. But be careful. You need to have a feeling for the right distance between you and your follower. If he is too far away it will just help him to catch up or line up a nice shot. The right point and time to use this trick is just before your enemy is ready to fire ( 80 - 150 meters distance).

Hallo Ape!

PARE: Power - idle Ailerons - neutral Rudder - Full deflection in opposite direction of rotation Elevator - neutral Memonic used to remember what to do, after the spinning stops throttle up in a controlled fashion and easy pull back on the stick to recover

Very good recovery! A little harder to the left or counter clockwise I've found in the 109. Also just for your English translation, this would be called spin recovery. Stall and spin as the stall itself is just the wing stall and not always a spin. Of course you already knew this! ;-)

Throttle down, trying to push the machine into pointing towards the ground with vertical stick movements ( using your tail wings below the missing rudder), don´t use the ailerons on your big wings ( horizontal stick movement). Maybe if you are lucky you get your plane pointing towards the ground and stop spinning. But it will be pretty unlikely i think. If you lose control parts of your plane you won´t be able to fight very well anyways, so i would bail.

That tail thingy is the rudder. ;)

Rudder is the tail "fin" ... rudder in the opposite direction of a stall and don't forget to nose down and throttle back

Caution, you say to keep full throttle when you're nose down after the stall, but actually you should keep it Iddle to loose the less altitude as possible, especially at low alt.

Great lesson! Thank you. And your English is very good...except that you didn't know what to call the rudder. (It's similar to the rudder on a boat, at least it operates on the same axis.) I believe the recommendation is to "step on the rudder pedal opposite the direction of the spin" So in this case, you were "stepping" on the left rudder, since you were spinning to the right. The airplane tends to spin to the right because most engines/propellers turn to the left, so the spin is a torque reaction to the right. I took flying lessons nearly 30 years ago, but I never became a pilot. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I learned that you should use the elevator to get out of a stalling situation, too. Very interesting literature for beginners and advanced alike is the 'Einmaleins für junge Adler'. It covers the basics of flying an aircraft and goes in detail about the Bf-109. But it's just in german. jfs.sturmovik.de/artikel/JungeAdler.pdf

Yes i know. If you listen exactely you hear me say for a short while that you should " push down the nose a little" but i then told that they should only use the rudder. The reason is that this tutorial is for beginners, and many beginners are going to overreact. So when they start using the elevators too in there panic they might do too many things at once and chances are that they are going to make it even worse. But you are right, a slight and short touch down with the elevators helps, too, because it brings the nose down quicker and helps the plane to build a new airflow with the needed speed quicker ( but this is going to happen on its own(especially in a plane like the 109) if you just reduce the throttle and let the plane fall, because the engine is the biggest mass concentration) but a beginner should just use the rudder and dont touch the stick.

Apeoftheyear Well, good point. But the 109 is very domnestic in this regards, anyways. Focke-Wulfs and especally P39s for example are on a completely different level but aren't beginner planes anyway (I know it, I started air combat sims with IL-2 Sturmovik and made the mistake to grab a FW first :D )

It's a stall/ spin . It's a stall until there is rotation.
