I live in a country where we have Ukrainian refugees . It's surreal to me. I could never imagine war so close. Mothers and kids , displaced from their lives and family ( the men are all with the military). The images are just heartbreaking.

@@matildaonvideo I've only just found your channel, and I don't know if this is still needed with so many alternatives, but I have another I think. No7 Hydraluminous Lip Balm - in "Caramel". Don't be mislead by the shade name, it's actually a cool toned brown-berry, with no hint of "toffee" or warmth. It has a sheer-shine finish.

rom&nd has some amazing lip tints, i recently picked up the glasting water tint in vintage ocean and have been obsessed ever since!! but like u already said in the video they do have an obnoxious fruity smell (which i personally am not upset about but i can see why ppl would avoid that lol)

I used to love vintage ocean cuz the shade and the finish is just so so beautiful. But then I found out that it lasts really weird and patchy after a while :( the juicy lasting tints lasts better

I became to love Canmake stay-on balm rouge through your channel and I can say their number 16 is close to Black Honey color. i loved it since a few years ago when my peers all were raving about brighter pink shades I was all about dark colors which make my skin looks so much better and fresh.

Love this series, for so many reasons! Deep berry shades are a deep love of mine, especially Black Honey. Thank you for continuing to help us all find our own perfect dark berry color way. A suggestion I wanted to throw out there for a Black Honey dupe that I use is RMS Lip2Cheek in llusive. First I swipe on lip balm and then lightly pat on the Lip2Cheek, so it has that same glossy effect. While the RMS has a touch more rose than purple undertones, on the lips it looks quite similar. Thank you Roheen! I wouldn't say many of these are hydrating specifically, just balmy and comfortable. I personally prefer to stick to a clear nourishing balm if my lips really need hydration, then layer a sheer lip colour on top 👍 x

you should try shine on lip jelly gloss! the shade *wild* has the black honey essence. yes, its more a glossy sheen but the color is so pretty and its super hydrating and not sticky.

Cachet is my fave tinted lipbalm of all time!!! I bought a second one for stock. Glad to know its similar to the famous Clinique Black Honey. If you have dark brown/purple lips I think Cachet works really well as a glossy natural dark berry tint.

I commented on the first video before I realized there was a part 2. I had been waiting for Revlon's Rum Raisin. Glad to see it here. I wanted to mention Context nude balm in the color "Back for more", which looks like a berry brown on me. I received it in one of my recent Ipsy bags. The reviews were odd because many complained that it was bright pink on them. I don't see how, but on my light olive skin it swatches more berry brown, but not as brown as Black Honey. It looks like it could be in the BH family when I wear it on my lips, which are pretty pigmented. I think its sheerness makes it look different on everyone, just like BH. I am now obsessed with Black Honey!

Hi Matilda! I’m glad you liked Rum Raisin! I agree with it being rosier, I’d say another thing to note is how Black Honey is balmier, meanwhile from personal experience Rum Raisin has a very slippy formula.

Oh my gosh. Black Honey was my first lipstick at 14 and my go to all through my teen years. And then I got to 18 and decided to move on. I'm now 38 and have about 10 of the lipsticks you use in this video, 3 of them in high rotation, weekly use. I guess I never moved on from black honey? Hahahaha!

The NYX fat oil click pen balm in shade 11 in a mood is a very similar shade with higher pigment payoff, I think it's slightly more red but it looks identical when you sheer it out to the level black honey is at

love your videos sm matilda! this is my 1st time commenting. i would also love to see a vid on romand products! i think revlon's super lustrous lipstick in raisin rage could be a good dupe for clinique's black honey (and you also included it in jeanne damas' beauty video, as a dupe for mac diva). i asked my mom and aunt one time if they knew about clinique's black honey back in the day (the 90s, and they told me it was a favorite of one of my aunts, and very popular)

Rom&nd lip tints are my favourite too! I really like the shade 23 Nudacamia and 22 Pomelo Skin of theirs. These are my personal perfect MLBB shade to wear everyday. Please give them a try and I would love to hear your opinions.

Rom&nd tints are my absolute favourites. These aren't dupes for black honey but I adore the shades almond rose and nucadamia! Easy mlbb shades and they don't dry out my lips even after drying down a touch.

I think the dior addict lip glow has a dupe color on my lips in plum . My lips have a berry undertone and the effect is very bit by cold lips

As always great content🥰some more suggestions as dupes from my side would be: Dior Addict Stellar Shine in 612-Sideral, Lancome Mademoiselle L'Absolue Lip Shine in 397-Call Me Shiny and Marc Jacobs Enamored Hydrating Gloss Stick in Black Cherry Baby. I even bought these way before I had Black Honey and after trying black honey I noticed their similarity. Hope this is helpful:)

It's all so beautiful. The Gucci lipstick looks amazing, what a beautiful packaging also, but bank account says no and I already have a million lipsticks😆😆😆😆 the video is still relaxing to watch :)
