A little bit delayed this one as I'm now a father after the wife went into labour at Donington Park! All bits purchased on ebay. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you have any questions!
Great video, thank you! And congratulations on your new arrival, hopefully you have been getting some sleep! Is there any reason you why you didn't just connect the positive to the old red fuse bit?
Thank you so much. Luckily I have an amazing wife who’s doing a great job so we’re both getting plenty of sleep, for now anyway haha. It’s mainly as space is limited in these engine bays and I still have the Airtec kit to fit (although this may change, updates soon) plus it could rattle about and break or short out eventually. I always try and work to keeping it reliable as possible.
@@Drivers.Garage Ah good stuff, glad you have been getting sleep, that can certainly be a killer if not! Ah cool, I may well buy one as well then just to be safe, but wasn't sure if it was 100% required. Definitely going to be using this guide though, so thank you again!
@@joestrellis5020 thank you, the support is appreciated. Not all the parts are 100% needed but they’re not a lot of money to do it right so thought, why not.
Alright buddy. I used a 150a breaker on the battery, a 150 maxi fuse on the fuse box and then 4xmidi fuses for the take offs (2x60 and 2x70) Appreciate it. Thank you for the support.
@@nsmathieu7847 I’m sat at working passing time so had time to respond 😂 Thank you mate, hopefully I’ll get time to record some more soon. Not easy fitting it in around family life.
Hi Simon. Off the top of my head I can’t remember. There is a diagram on fuse-box.info website though. I actually mixed mine up during the install and ended up just putting a 60a on each one with intention of changing the ones that popped to 70 however they’ve all been fine with 60s in since this video was filmed.
It is bolted through a single layer of thin carpet. It wasn’t moving any where 👌🏻 however the car has since had the carpet removed so it’s bolted directly to the metal with nothing in between now.
