You have a beautiful mind. My hat is off to you. Every time you make a new rubber band gun I think you have reached the limits yet you keep them coming. Great work!
YOU'RE A GOD! THIS IS FANTASTIC! I never thought of how clip based rubber band guns could be made but you have an ingenious design that proves to be quite spectacular..
THIS IS THE BEST MECANISM I EVER SEEN, I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS TOOO ALOGN, a band gund easi to rechargue, and now y find one LIQUE M1Garand I love you soo mutch Parabellum Arms :,)
Congratulations, this is one of the most ingenious device I have seen containing so much mechanical logic that is so educational. I like the manner in which you solved the loading system, so neat, and the ejection. It is about time that education in schools would take the responsibility of teaching the students at an early age, the alphabet of movements, Just as language has the basic words and statements to create a " function" so has the Universe and what man put in it, The silence in which the universe strolls by contains in it so many silent functions and while religions and arts prepared the path for mind organisation if did not deliver the mechanical and electrical functions that we know of now and it is only a 100 years ago that man understood some invisible functions as flying and shapes of wings and engines, Before it was app philosophy and the world stood still for thousands of years. What is contained in this gun are so many educational contents which many modern students would prefer, Unfortunately so many people went by the way side because educators only gave out, language and art and religion and forgot about the silent functions around them. Congratulations once again on this masterpiece of inspiration, just brilliant, considering its simplicity, but to come up with that concept needs high intelligence.
A small change to useing the falling lift design from your mag fed pistol would aleaviate the strong trigger pull. Combineing the downwards force when pushing in the clip to reset the falling lift woild speed up reloads too.
I have made a number of your guns from your tutorials and look forward to making the Garand. You mentioned in previous posts that you were working on a tutorial, have you any idea when this will be completed?
I think you can make it look like a garand if you made the mechanism to pull the bands thinner so you can cover the mechanism with the same wooden cover as the real thing
Awesome RB weapon! Can you make the plans for that one? I am just about finishing RBGuns' MP40 with blowback, and I would love to build this one! P.S. I think you could try adding a frame or something to this to make it look like a M1 Garand.
I've watched a number of these videos and thought "Reloading one at a time is impractical in combat". Then I saw your mag feds and immediately thought "Wow, those magazines are too big and complicated to carry or make many of". Here I see you fixed the problem how I hypothesized it could be done, but I haven't seen you expand on this idea any further - You've gone back to more traditional styles. I say push the envelope. Adapt this clip into a mag and feed it into a pistol model.
+Steven Boelke Well you'll be glad to hear I've got a lever action version coming soon! The big problem with this one is the heavy trigger pull and the lever fixes that. It can still shoot just as fast but it's much more accurate.
Specifically en bloc clip fed; awesome vid! If only you could make it to be 8-shot capacity and include a bolt on the right side of the receiver that must be pushed forward. The REAL M1 Rifle doens't always need the bolt to be given a tap, only every now and again, but none the less these rubber band guns are awesome feats of engineering, very entertaining!
NormanMatchem Believe it or not, I did actually have to add a forward assist to the right side of the receiver because the trigger doesn't always fully reset. As for the 8 shot capacity, well I haven't figured that one out yet!
Hi! Your guns are fantastic! Unfortunatelly i dont have the tools and materials for making a rubber band gun out of wood, but i used to be good making papercraft models. Do you think its possible making a working papper rubberband gun whit the rotating star and oscillator mechanism ?
