insta: jessicaasedits i love hayden too much bro i got these clips from bloopers on youtube, random hayden videos, behind the scenes of star wars, hayden interviews stan hayden christensen for clear skin
I always loved Hayden Christensen as Anakin. He brought so much to the table when portraying my favorite Star Wars character! I’d love to meet him someday
This is such a stupid comment. The whole point of the Prequels was to show his fall and change in character. It’d hardly be a ‘fall to the dark side’ if he was evil from day one, would it?
@@drawde_064 If you can't figure out that this is obviously a joke making light of the Prequel haters' ridiculous expectations for Anakin, I honestly don't know what to tell you.
@@divergenttardis7378 If it’s a joke, my apologies, but mostly when people use this format (at least in my experience) they’re trying to make a serious point.
Anyone who thinks this man did poorly as Anakin understands neither George Lucas' writing nor what Anakin was going through. I believe it was portrayed very well. Fight me.
He was good as Anakin, but Lucas's writing was god awful, at least dialog-wise. It was the one thing he REALLY should've let someone else have an opinion on(and maybe could've put a little more effort on the CGI).
“God that’s Hot!” They should’ve left that in the movie along with Natalie’s laugh, that one 5 second scene would’ve given Anakin the charm and humor he needed. Seems like Hayden himself was what Lucas was looking for, someone who had the boyishness and hope of Luke and the braveness and charm of Han Solo. They should’ve left this in. The genuine laugh Natalie gives is perfect. That’s actual flirting.
I grew up with the prequels (born 1991) and my father told me to hate them and Hayden as a little girl. But it wasn't until 2018/2019 and watched them again that Hayden played Anakin perfectly and he is so handsome. I am so glad that he is coming back in the Kenobi series, I was watching the Disney investment day live and I was screaming and running around in my room on Cloud nine for about a week.
@@ARandomSpace Cause he grew up with the original trilogy and he thinks Hayden acting was bad. But it isn't until George Lucas explain that the reason Hayden is playing like a robot that the Jedi want him to be. A cold emotionless robot.
If you watch any behind the scenes, bloopers, or even interviews from the prequels, you’ll be very quick to see him being a delightful person and talented actor. Everyone who worked on the movies with him have nothing but great things to say. He did all his own stunts, he always had a positive attitude, he never complained, and he took direction any chance he could. He says himself that he just felt so lucky to be there and he had the most fun. The contrast between the actor and the character makes the characterization very apparent and exposes the flaws in the direction/script, rather than his acting. I think he was fantastic as Anakin and honestly, I wouldn’t really be satisfied with anyone who would replace him. I think that he got such a tough go when it came to audience criticism because he wasn’t really an established actor before the prequels, so there wasn’t much reference for his talent, whereas Natalie Portman or Samuel L Jackson weren’t met with hate because it was obvious that the direction/script was the culprit of the occasional awkward interpretation. I thoroughly enjoy the prequels, just the same; they’re my favorites of the saga (though they’re all good). Maybe the fact that I was born in 2000 and the prequels were around my generation has something to do with it, but honestly, having only watched Star Wars for the first time this last year, coming in with a completely objective, unbiased perspective, the prequels are great and Hayden won my favor as Anakin for sure. It was a completely believable portrayal of the logical progression of the character. I’m excited to see him return and I hope he knows that people are.
people totally shit on hayden’s performance and it pisses me off, it’s exactly what mark hamill said. the writing was terrible and anybody who ended up playing anakin would’ve had an equally difficult time making the clunky lines sound normal and easy. i mean, everybody knew phantom menace was bad but then they blamed everything on hayden as soon as he entered the picture. i mean, you try talking about how much you hate sand when it has no importance or much context. poor guy. i honestly think he did a pretty decent job too because he portrayed anakin in a way that made sense for his past.
It's so funny because Mark has been saying this about George's dialogue for decades. It just sounds unnatural because this is Anakin Skywalker before he turns into the Frankenstein, Darth Vader so it just seems so incongruent. You'd never imagine that from that trilogy to this one that he'd be exactly like Luke, except that was the point. The difficulties that Hayden has is not the same as what Mark has because Mark's dialogue in the OT and the emotions in the OT was a lot more simple and also because Mark's performance is a lot more thespian than Hayden's is.
I’ve seen so many straight men questioning their sexuality when it comes to Hayden, and it just so funny. How can’t you just love him, he charms everyone
0:31, oh god that’s hilarious, just straight flops. He’s so funny, like a 5 year old exploring new territory, he’s all over the place not caring about the consequences
Same, I love some parts of The Clone Wars, but the TCW version of Anakin was not really my thing if you know what I mean? But maybe I'm biased cause I watched the Prequels before TCW.
He’s honestly just the most adorable thing in all the behind the scenes. It shows how young he was-which shows how much of a little boy Anakin was when everything went down in the series. 😭
Whether you love or hate the prequels (and how could you possibly hate them?); you can't deny Hayden is adorable and they looked like such fun sets to work on.
1:25 Best Outake. Hayden get's hit, pretends to be stabbed, falls over with a grunt, and Ewan says "I'll take you on my own" Who knew they were Improv experts!!!!
❤️Thanks for your unending love and support you have constantly shown me in such difficult moment. I’m forever grateful. I really appreciate your unconditional love to me and every effort exerted by you to cause a change…Where are you watching from?
The prequels were my childhood and I had a huge crush on Hayden as Anakin. Everyone hated him for being the "whiny and dramatic Anakin" but they didn't even consider that he's only portraying a character and his acting is what George Lucas wanted to see as the creator of Star Wars. I'm so glad he's back. I hope they give him more side stories for Star Wars and more acting roles in other films. He deserve all the love and not the hate.

It's amazing, I'm just thrilled with such an unreal transformation into a stage image. The other actors are like themselves, and Hayden is not, it's some incredible level of acting. And all of Hayden's characters in other films are so different.
Growing up, I met a lot of people who looked at me funny for saying I loved the prequels, and that Anakin was my favorite SW character. I'm glad that now there are other people who agree with me.
