thank you, i’m glad somebody gets it with those things. i’ve been collecting since 2012 and i’ve only see one ariel and one atosa for sale. also sorry i’m so late to responding.
I've been collecting since the 80s, and I only have the "Jet" model and one by the Terry Clock Co......so they must not that easy to find!@@Brooks_Adams
Love your Parlor selection. I have an older Ansonia triumph mirrorside one with the alarm and I'm highly proud of it since clocks like these are extremly hard to come across in Germany where I live. I mostly specialized on rare German mantel and regulator wall clocks and have quite a few. Once more a wonderful video about a wonderful collection.
Ohhh yeah, my dad has the triumph and it is one of those thats highly sought after, that’s so cool that you managed to find one. I normally look at the everything, but my collection doesn’t really have anything I specialized in. Most of the time I just buy what catches me and I can afford it at the time.
@@Brooks_Adams I see. Mine was rather a lucky second-hand store find, it works surprisingly well though. I also have 3 wheight driven Vienna regulators, 2 of them being unusually special with a thick and very loud and voluminous sounding gong, both by the same brand. I also have a big interest into antique music boxes and grammophones. I simply love everything old that makes noises or music!
Thank you so much! I’m fourth generation collector in my family so i’ve had tons of guidance on what’s not worth buying, good vs bad deals ect. However it’s been really neat these past couple years watching it grow as i’ve started to develop my own taste and buy things that just hit that sweet spot. I’m sure you can understand ☺️
