In this video I'm going to show you how I made this cloisonne enamel angel pendant using copper fine silver wires and vitreous enamel. I started with cutting out the shape with my saw. I texturized the surface with my hammer and also domed the piece to prevent worping.
The next step is to apply the clear fuse on both sides. I fired it with my torch.
After that I'm folding the wires to match the design using my pliers and a tweezer. Cloisonne wires are flat wires standing on their edges. When it's done I place them on the surface of the pendant using glue. I fire it to make the wires stick to the base coat.
Next I'm applying the colors, firing it and repeat the process two more times.
Last step is the sanding process. Enamel loses it's shine during this process so I fire it again to get the shine back.
