i dont have a folder named clone hero on my documents

@@hydro_flips4068I would just say to make sure you have the game fully installed and if it is I’d recommend to uninstall it and redownload it. All your songs and stuff will save that’s all I can think of.

I would honestly try and make a new folder in maybe the installed folder of Clone Hero and then try scanning that new one once you move the songs there

are you logged into your google account while trying to download? this helped 90% of the time

Sorry just saw this and you mean you put your windows program files in the songs folder or the games program files?

so i put my program files (all the files in my pc) into the songs path manager and now i cannot delete the (program files) from the game... I tried uninstalling but its still there along with dome of the songs I added. Problem is i cannot remove or add any songs so my game is bricked... I was wondering if there was a way to wipe the game and delete all the songs in your list? probably not but its worth a shot asking..@@slidernedboy123

I would try to make a new folder and move everything into that one then try to rescan. Hopefully that works

So yes if it's under the title of the game it usually has all the songs the game comes with besides DLC

its in documents not your disc files

If you used the website I linked, I believe it should be the custom video folder or backgrounds if you can copy and paste in both. Also in settings you should rescan custom files

Turns out The game wouldn't recognize my Hard Drive, so I moved everything over to my SSD and it worked out fine.

@@10eLSe11 Yeah it actually ended up just being a bad controller I got another one from a friend and tried there's and there was no issue so I just had to buy another. Thanks for your help.

need to set key binding to your guitar, make sure you have a guitar that is compatible to PC

It's terrible UI design for newbies. It does work, but it requires you to understand that by default A on the keyboard is GREEN button and is used as OK. S on keyboard is RED button and is used as CANCEL. The enter key is only used as START button. Also, the game cleverly recognises your controller (i use an old PS3 GH guitar) but still needs you to map all the buttons to work. Strange it doesn't just use a default map.

You need to go into the specific song file and transfer the video to there

And make sure the video is just called video. If it’s called something else it won’t show up in game.

I'm not sure if you can download the actual background for the games. I know you can download the music videos for the Guitar Hero TV songs though.

I'm glad I could help, and I thought the exact same thing it's so awesome to play it again!

It has to be the Guitar Hero/Rockband Drumset, I believe in order for it to recognize it.

I would double check that an instrument is being selected before the song starts. I know some of the songs are only 6 fret or 5 fret. There is a way to convert all 6 fret songs into 5 fret songs.

It should be able to run on almost all computers. It's a pretty lite program so it doesn't need high specs. Try it out!!

u can always install rspc3 and emulate the original games, u need a medium level cpu theres a cpu chart somewhere out there

It is horrible to get set up, but once its done, you'll love being able to play pretty much any song in existance. I wish we had this back in 2006 when my friends and I were young and partying with GH3 battles, it would've been so much more fun having more songs.

honestly dont use the ps3 version it runs bad so you should just search up how to download guitar hero 3 on pc i reccomend plumatos video which is what everyone uses in the community@@nickcan04

Yeah no problem, so when you first start it up create a new profile then you have the select 5 fret guitars instead of 6 fret. 5 fret is original guitar hero and the 6 fret is the Guitar Hero Live Guitar

@@MarcoLoks213 Unfortunately I could not figure it out still, I gave up lol. The discord tried helping me but they were telling me i was doing it wrong but i sent them screenshots and told me to make sure its all in my C: Drive. It is and still nada. Just decided to give up on it all in all.

Same guitar I am using. Click the space bar to go to controls and look down a bit, click the mouse on the controller column on far right, select the one across from the green button, then click the green button on your guitar controller. Repeat for all the buttons. You only have to do this once. It's good to go after that.

I don't believe there is a way to make it look like RB honestly. They designed it around Guitar Hero

There is a CH equivalent called Y.A.R.G, with a drastically similar installation process, that is more oriented for customization, aesthetics, including Rock Band style highways and gems, default backgrounds from old games, etc. Hope this helps!

I would try to reinstall the drivers for the mouse. That's weird that it's not working. That's the only thing I can think of.

@@jacobberg9698 Uff, I would try uninstalling the mouse drivers then restarting. Maybe download clone hero again. Sorry I haven't run into that issue or heard about yet

I honestly haven't heard about the knock off ones if it's not too expensive worth a try but everyone I've seen has always recommended the OEM ones specifically wired ones for the lower latency.

It goes wired les paul, then wired sg, then wireless les paul (apparently wireless wii les paul is like THE best) and then wireless everything else. Stay away from ps3/ps4 guitars IF YOU CAN, proprietary software makes whammy and whatnot unusable unless used with sony

Pretty much yeah just not a turntable. Has to be a guitar or drums

So i believe Clone Hero only recognizes guitar if it's the Xbox wireless dongle or ps dongle connected through USB. Or just connected directly to USB straight from guitar or drums

@@basslockdownandbeyond4225 Oh shoot my bad it should work. Just change the desktop audio to the headphones and also the default audio device in Clone Hero settings I believe.

I believe you have to press enter then A S D keys are the colors to select and go back

I think you can just make the folders again but you just have to name the folders the exact same thing

So in the settings I would make a new folder directory and then add them to that then rescan

So once you make a profile and select it then you can go through the menu

If you mean the original files you copied over than yes you don't need it in 2 folders.

Hmm I'm not sure usually I press enter the first time then it makes you create a profile then once you do that it lets me continue, also I think the green and red buttons are A, D, or S. If that doesn't work try reinstalling it after uninstalling and restarting.

So the settings say it's supposed to automatically work, but I could not get it to work either unfortunately.

I just had the same issue. Just add the .rar file to any folder (creating a new one would be better) and then download the folder with the .rar in it. It´s just how drive works

Do you mean, there's certain songs that are only 6 fret right and not the normal 5 fret color ones?

in settings there are a few options but I don't believe you can get custom ones

What type of controller are you using by chance?

@@slidernedboy123 Xbox 360 Controller. EDIT Game detects them in calibrator jus ain't detect them when inputting controlles both just the trigger bumbers it detects easy

@@UnintentionalGod so your using an actual Xbox 360 controller, not a guitar? I would go to device manager and go to controller. Click update driver then go to select driver then pick Xbox 360 controller

That setlist is the only one I found so far unfortunately. Just make sure it's from the peach/tan color list

It should work I believe all Xbox controllers are just plug and play without needing to do anything extra

Yeah on some of the packs it will be a rar file, but you can just download Winrar. It will say trial version but it's let's you use it indefinitely. Once installed just right click on the rar file then hit extract to and pick the one that has the same name

I believe you should be able to you just have to map the buttons in the settings.

I got mine on ebay with the ps4 version of the game for a good price. If you're buying from ebay though just make sure that it says the dongle is INCLUDED

@@therealnikos2033Did you try and rescan the folder in the Clone Hero settings? If not I would try to make a new folder somewhere else on the computer. Add them to that folder then in the settings of Clone Hero try and add that new folder as one of the directory's. I think you can create the new folder in the Clone Hero settings also.

First hurdle man.. so my pc just came haha. And this is the first game I'm downloading. But on the first link I can't seen to get the packs to download. It just says having issues. I got soulless but I wanted all the tracks for the previous GH games too.

Sorry for the late reply, yes it's strange. Only happens when trying to get the guitar hero game charts. I had to be online at a certain time. But I've got them now! I just can't figure out how to get highways. I'd rather it all black and no highway but I don't seem to have that in my options. So I'll need a black highway

So you just pretty much have to map the Player 2 controls on a second controller then it will automatically work once you press start on the second controller. Let me know if you have other questions. Hopefully that helps

So I personally have over 4000 but I just did each pack manually. Unless you find someone that just has a big file download somewhere. Then you would just add this say one big file

I'm not familiar with wiitharing. If your trying to use a Wii remote I know the also have adapters they sell online and you can connect via USB

U have to sync ur wiimote in wiitarthing and remember to have bluetooth on!

Do you need windows to run it? I have it downloaded and clone hero is synced to the wii controller but the guitar itself won't register

I don't know to be honest I think you could maybe drop the video file in the specific song folder. Maybe?? not sure.

I think all guitars work best, I use the Wii one with an adapter and it works really good

It would either have to be your actual drive doesn't have any more room or try making another folder directory in the settings and try adding them there.
