@@iggylo7867 idk how it went exactly but he was frozen by the separatists and the ship he was on got shot down and he stayed frozen for like 50 years and was found during the force awakens being the last clone too ever exist
@@breigfamily6756 yeah some pirates found him and he wasn't old due to being frozen so he joined their pirate gang and he spent his time with them for the rest of his life. So yeah, kix is the last clone that lived.
And I think the reason they froze him was because the Separatists (or Dooku/Palpatine) found out he knew about the chips so they did it to keep Order 66 silent
I love how the clones who were on guard overheard about the “anti-clone virus” and immediately reacted to the rumor. The details on this show are insane
It's definitely better than the non detail when Anakin was saving Obi Wan from the slavers. There's a guard not 3 feet away from him Anakin: Looks like I gotta save you again old man Obi-Wan: I knew you had a plan Guard: *just keeps staring off to the side*
@@xDesiqnsTheCreativeGamer looks like he's thinking about growing it out, not slicking it back. Pretty cool that the next time we see him he's followed through with it.
Honestly I wish we saw more clone medics, Kix was awesome but they're should be more than just him, poor dude seemed to have to look after the entire 501st legion on his own lol.
@@JournaloftheWhills Anakin tried his best to protect his men, and I believe if they weren't up for the mission he would give them different assignments. But that rarely happened as the 501st were all brave soldiers.
@@thebathtubgamer5201 you had to be courageous and show high potential to even get into the 501st. They were the best of the best serving under what most clones would consider the greatest jedi general there was.
My theory is After Palpatine meet Anakin when he was young (Naboo )and found that he is strong in the force aka the CHOSEN ONE I guess Palpatine went to Kamino and told the Kaminoans : Put a chip in clones to kill the Jedi except Anakin Skywalker
@@LordVader1094 Clone production started shortly after episode 1. During it, Dooku was still a Jedi. He didn't hire Jango as the template until he became a Sith.
So I guess after he stayed with injured Cody, he soon learned about what happened to Fives and investigated, causing him to learn about the chips and Order 66. He somehow got captured by separatists (Dooku ordered it because of his knowledge of the chips), but the ship was shot down and he stayed frozen in stasis for 50 years until pirates of the Crimson Corsair got him out. He still had all his thoughts in his head, telling them he needed to speak to Anakin immediately, ignorant to the fact that Anakin has been dead for 30 years at that point and had been one of the imperials who helped the Empire kill the Jedi. He completely missed out on the entire Imperial rule and all of his brothers/general dying off and woke up when the First Order had already risen to power. All of the Jedi were thought to be extinct, something he could have prevented had he not been captured by the Separatists 50 years back. What a rough couple of decades to miss out on.
@@daredevilmoon8508 not the oldest, since his ageing was suspended by being frozen, but definitely the last. Since the clones age twice as fast as normal humans, 50 years would be 100 years for a clone’s ageing, so it’s impossible for any to still be alive.
Kix was probably the most luckiest clone to survive 50 years later after the war during the era of the First Order A pirate sidon Ithano found him in a pod and later kix joined his crew
the first time i saw that part i started laughing erratically bc like his scream was just so sudden and out of nowhere and hes also kinda just throwing his hands everywhere and for some reason i just thought that was sooo funny
@@theoneperson3996 Nah bro, the Jedi arrested the chancellor due to an assassination attempt, and the clones and Jedi are remembered for being defenders of peace throughout the clone war.
@@JosephJamesDeAngelo1986 He suffered from survivor's guilt. As the last remaining clone, he was always reminded that he wasn't there with his brothers as they slowly died out.
0:38 Knowing Jesse was an ARC trooper later on in the series made me think about this small detail. It is probably common knowledge to know about farm animals, but for Jesse to think ahead of Kix and Hardcase during the situation implies his potential being an Arc trooper.
Not only that, but Jesse was the one Rex put in command in his absence. Kix even calls him sir in that scene. Jesse also went on to disobey orders with Fives, an ARC trooper, on Umbara. The buildup was always there. But most fans just ignored Jesse until his promotion…
@@purpleemerald5299 that was most likely due to Jesse being a lieutenant, making him next in the chain of command after Rex for the 501st that where sent on the mission.
11:19 I heard a rumor about why Kix grew his hair back. With all the info fives gave to kix about tup and the jedi, kix found out about the chip and removed it. That's why he grew his hair out to cover the scar. But if this were to be the case, he would've told other clones about it.
Kix is one my favourite clones from the show. Plus, I think he's an underrated clone. The fact that he was the only Clone medic and did most of the help on his own is incredible work and shows how much of trooper he is to the 50st! Good on ya Kix! I salute you!
Wouldn’t it be interesting if Kix grew his hair back to conceal the fact that he removed is own inhibitor chip? He couldn’t do it for the rest, but to be safe, he did it for himself so in the event Fives was right, he’d still have his wits.
“Do I need, see those platoons? Now move on!” It’s almost like krell despised the clones so much he couldn’t even give them the bear minimum respect of talking to them in coherent sentences like as if he needs to paraphrase as if they where animals. This show has so many great details
i cant stop thinking how Kix went from one of the best 501st clones and medic and fighting a war that seemed forever, when he knew about the chips, maybe he finally thought of having a normal life after the war but instead was frozen and awakened 50 years later, 2 governments fell and 2 rised to power and the galaxy is at war again. You must imagine how much Kix has to process for 50 years, how his clone brothers are doing, what happened to the jedi and the state of galaxy
The fact the kix is always directly behind rex is pretty accurate to the army in real life. The medic is always next to the platoon sergeant so he can be under his direct command and told where to set up casualty collection points
@@carlycrays2831 another fun fact. Most clones who are shot on screen don’t actually die. They just get knocked out from the impact hitting them so hard. Thats why commander thorn is seen withstanding 5-6 shots cause of his will to resist the pain.
"You know, I wasn't sure if Krell was crazy before, but now, I'm positive." 3:14 "A few of General Skywalker's plans seemed reckless too." Immediately cuts to a clone getting fucking run over by a giant centipede 💀💀💀
I’m so glad that Kix survived the clone wars but l’m not glad that he was frozen in time and later on outlived all of his brothers just to be left alone as the only clone left, it’s honestly sad :(
kind of embarrassed to say this but i didnt notice jesse kix and hardcase were a thing until the later seasons. maybe its because their armor paint didnt stand out as much as later on, or because i didnt expect any other clones beside rex cody fives and echo to make reappearances, but seeing that these 3 were in the show next to rex since season one without me noticing is a bit of a shock
I got to the part about Tup and even though it's my favorite medic, I couldn't watch because Tup is my favorite too and his breakdown is heart breaking.
Same his haircut was sick. He had the best clone haircut in my opinion I like to think he grew it out to conceal his chip scar. I like to think he took it out so he could study his in secret. That's how he figured it out.
Well his story has a great setup with his relationship with fives and anakin/501st, better for him to have that, become a legendary relic, than to execute order 66 and just fade into the empire or die on Ashoka's Venator
Interesting how Dave decided to give standard clone hairs to Kix in the final season. I believe he did it because they plan on doing the story where he is frozen by the separatist so, once he comes back to the screen, people that are not familiar with the clone wars will recongnise him as a clone due to his “standard” clone haircut... makes sense? In my head it does lmao
I never really thought about it, but's interesting now to see Kix, a field medic, getting frustrated and aggressive during the Siege of Umbara. I feel like someone who has a special aptitude for saving lives rather than taking them, would be less violent, but here we can see the devils being ripped out of Kix after seeing his brothers dying left and right but not being able to save them
Kix made it all the way to the reign of the First order, he was frozen in cryo sleep because he discovered the Order 66 plot. But the sepy ship he was on was shot down, then a couple like 50-60 years later someone detected the life signal. Iiterally the second that Kix’s brain functionally returned he rambled on about the Inhibitor chips, Order 66 and how the chancellor was evil. But then a pirate band told him everything that had happened while Kix was takin an Ice nap.
Fates of the 501st boys 💔 *Hardcase* -KIA *Tup* -Succumbs to his wounds after Fives removes his defective brain chip. *Dogma* -Taken into custody for killing Pong Krell. Fate unknown. *Fives* -Killed trying to expose Order 66. *Jesse* -killed trying to execute Order 66 (wasn’t his fault) *Kix* -taken by the Separatists after he came close to exposing order 66, frozen in stasis. he’s found and unfrozen by pirates some 60 years later.
What I love is that Kix is right about out ranking. In actual military Doc is the guy everyone looks up too and is the one who has more power at the end of the day when it comes to the men's health
Watching this clip back of Rex getting shot in the chest explains so much as to why he combined fase 1 and 2 armour, fase 1 was much stronger but fase 2 was lighter and more comfortable
