The “purchasing unpersonal personal items” resonates so much! I’ve had this mentality for a few years now and some people think it’s odd, why not just buy the silly little charm and get on with your life? Because it feels decorative and fake! I can’t express how validating and refreshing it feels to hear you or just anyone else for that matter mention this. Superb video as always xx

I kind of disagree with the first one. I love to have the funky option of original in terms of accessories. For 90% of the time I dress quite basically, because I live in small town and have stuff to do 🙈 But funky accessories - like shoes or handbags, that are not “the original” of the product are really making the outfits look intentional, since they are contrasting with the rest of the simple, basic outfit. It always makes me feel a little bit more like a fashion girly, even when I’m just buying groceries ☺️

I will say i resonated with most of them and especially the Mom one. But the pal one is right most of the Time but, i was once out with a friend and they recomended me one shirt that was not 100% my cup of tea then, and It is being used every week cuz it is so simple and very comfortable.

Great advice! As a personal example, when chunky loafers were blowing up and i caught the bug, i ended up settling on less chunky less trendy doc marten loafers, which are now my very favorite shoes and will not age themselves like the big chunky ones.

This sorta goes along with the pink lady theory but another regret I always have is buying a fast fashion item just because it has a cute design or something and realizing later that I just don’t connect with it at all if you know what I mean. I connect so much more with found vintage items P.S. when I found out you posted at work I was already excited to go wind down at home with some chocolate and watch your vid and that’s exactly what I did

Hahahah no problem !!! I don’t have anti glare but I do live in eng er land so it’s always cloudy and I don’t use a ring light or anything . Not v helpful sorry !!! Sometimes there’s a little square in my glasses from my laptop and it annoys the hell out of me n sometimes I pull my curtains if it’s too sunny
