For black shoes I'd suggest Doc martens, not sure if you already have some but i feel like they are such good quality and once you break them in (which didn't take me that long surprisingly!) they're actually super comfy and will last an eternity. I also like the worn leather look anyway. I just feel like they have so much variety too, like cutesy mary janes or ones that come below the ankle, chunky platform or little platform. I also really love the brown leather dms too I think they are gorgeous.
Once I saw a show where someone lived in Seattle and they also said that carrying an umbrella was just not done. But I came to realize that there's a type of rain where mist just hangs in the air--in this situation, an umbrella is basically useless. Also if you live in a big city w crowded sidewalks, you can put someone's eye out if you carry an umbrella (I am exaggerating). But it is seen as thoughtless and rude. (but don't get me wrong, I love umbrellas)
I would recommend Merrell, Keen, Scarpa or La Sportiva for a black shoe instead of Salomon's. I had few pairs of shoes from Salomon brand and they get ruined so quickly, they last like one season max if you're going hiking in them which is just sad. Also with the hype around the brand they just lowered their quality, they're not ethically made but the prices are just getting higher (not just) because of the hype which is insane to me. Same with Arcteryx brand. They have great quality stuff but not really ethically made so in the end you just end up paying insane amount of money for "the" brand. But in the end it's about what we feel good about:), thank you for your videos. Hope you get well soon:)).
Love merrell love keen love scarpa , will have to do my research on la sportiva !! Still want to bag myself a cheeky keen Newport !! Ty for the suggestions !!
Hanging things have always been apart of my style, even when it’s not a trend you’ll probably see me with an unnecessary amount of charms coming off of my bags ^^
IDK if REI is a thing in the UK but they stock lots of great hiking/walking sneakers and a lot of them are even waterproof! I swear by my gore-tex salomons, those things have gotten me up trails that were basically small rivers.
@@ashleighcallaghan i’ve had another pair of asics for nearly a year & they were the gel keyano 14’s (very good quality) and the ones i just got are the in the clouds collab - they have this sheer part at the front which is kinda fun but not if you don’t want to see your feet😭
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH AND TRIED TO BUY THEM OFF EBAY BUT THEY R MORE EXPENSIVE THAN ANY SECOND HAND NIKE SHOE SHOULD EVA BE EVARRRRRRR ok got excited bc I didn’t know anyone else knew they existed heheheeheh but yes I lovvvvv my Nike air rift and loveeeeeeeee the one colour pony fur .. so much
@@ashleighcallaghan Fr fr but also I can't stop looking at them?? And I can't make sense of them in my mind like why is there so little info on them?? Glad i didn't fabricate them in a dream hehe
There is no such thing as timeless fashion for womenswear: the essence of it is experimentation and creativity. For example, the trench which is really popular for women, was initially only worn by men during the first world war. Then it became abandonned by men but now used mainly by women.
I have a bubble umbrella red with black polka dots and I never use it, maybe it’s because I live in California and typically it doesn’t rain too much throughout the year
I’ve def looked into it !! They look like they would last a real long time but for walking I think they’d be so heavy !! I love the vintage buffalo shoes though 💘💘💘💘
Exactly what I was thinking !!!! Have also looked at both of those bc to me they r the DEFINITION of chav shoe (which is exactly what im looking for heheh) xxxx
my small bag is a faux leather shoulder bag, my medium bag is my trusty lovely baggu, and my large bag is a trader joe’s canvas tote lol luv ur vids :3
I would really like to know which kind of jacket you like to wear for really cold british/german winter weather :) i need a new jacket and I can't find any that I like because I'm so picky I'd rather layer 3 wool sweaters and call it a day
I have a heavy heavy timberland jacket that is super warm but its not that waterproof, so its great when its cold but if it is raining it gets v wet ahahah . but mostly im the same, lots and lots of base layers then a high quality waterproof windbreaker (lovvvv my north face) to keep me dry :)xxxxxx
where in the world are u that it’s getting “chillier” 😭😭 where i live it’s getting hotter than everrrr also u should get pumas!! they’re so comfy and they have a fully black shoe, i’ve got a pair so cuteeee!
U gotta overcome your umbrella fear, i luv umbrellas so much they are such an underrated and understated accessory. They can add a lot to an outfit i think. Luv your vids xx
