In this video I fit a C&C Squareback motorcycle seat and a Glide Pro fairing to my 2017 Harley Davidson Softail Slim S to achieve the Club style "look". Harley already has 9 Inch Drag bars fitted
Looks good, but now it's pretty much a street bob with different looking forks lol. The headlight is what gave it character. I did google club style Softail slim.
Thats sweet as mate ! I've got a 17' slim s too, and I'm trying to decide what seat to put on (one or two piece etc) Have the the radical radius pipes, and I wasn't sure about fairings until I saw this !! Awesome looking ride mate !
Going back to the Softail Slim if you still have it. Where did you get the foot peg conversion kit from? Did you order from HD? I have been told the Breakout peg and brake pedal part number will work
I bought the genuine harley davidson forward control kit. Part number is HD33909-08A. The website and specifications state it wnt fit fls models but I can assure you it does without any modifications.

Hey man, I didn't like the way the stock mini apes looked on my street bob, but theres some pretty cool after market mini apes. I will say The stock ones on my bike were a perfect rise height for my riding position though. Thanks for watching bruv 🤙

@Anthony Carmona thanks bro. Certainly isnt a waist of dosh if your bike has a mint engine. I love the slim S and still think it's one of the best looking Harleys going. I do have the fairing for sale for less than half the price I spent on it. It's on gumtree and ebay man under softail slim S (glide pro) fairing. Cheers brother appreciate the feedback.
I'd say when you have both bikes together side by side the stock softail slim S looks more expensive with nicer finishes than the stock street bob. That being said I much prefer the 107 milwaukee 8 engine over the twin cam 110. The 110 ran so bloody hot mate, it was practically unbearable to ride in the heat in slow built up traffic (city riding). I also had a few issues with the 110 engine, it blew up within the 1st 1500kms brand new. That could be attributed to many issues but I was told some nonsense that it was oil contamination. I prefer how the new gen softail frames (street bob) handle and that the suspension is adjustable (monoshock). The milwaukee 8's also run a hell of alot cooler than the twin cam 110 as they're oil cooled. I feel as though the stock 107 has the same acceleration off the mark as it's lighter than the slim S. Don't get me wrong the 110 softail slim S is a great bike but I had issues with mine. In all honesty I'd go with a softail street bob and that's not just because I currently own one. Best thing you can do mate is take both bikes on a decent test ride. And when I say a decent test ride I don't mean ride the bike around the block and back to the dealership like I did when I bought both bikes 😂😂😂 Test either bike out on the highway, around tight streets and on roundabouts. That'll help you make the decision mate 👍 Around 24 grand Au is big dollars to spend on a bike so pick the right bike for you mate. @@jonc4939 I only really considered the street bob because I knew I'd be spending loads in aftermarket mods so I went with the cheapest softail model to save a little. I also wanted to trade my bike in for a brand new one 👍
@Reece Hill part number for the forward controls is HD33909-08A. The website states they dnt fit the slim s. But they bolt right up without any modification.
No part number mate but if you search glide pro In Google you will find the website. You can customize the fairings to suit your bike. I chose the tall windshield for this fairing.
@@TheGingybeardMan Thank you sir. I found it. Love the look to, been slowly working towards the same on my slim. It's a toss up between the Memphis shades bullet and this one now. But the squarback seat is a definite must have.
@@brandonreed4011 happy to help brother. I was going to buy the memphis shades bullet fairing as well, that's until I came across this one. In my opinion the glide pro fairing is more suited to the club style look.
