@Charlie Westbrook because libertarian economic policies are horrible for the poor. I find working class libertarians funnys. Im assuming your a business owner
@@xxxxxx-kk7mh These ideas seem to do wonders for the poor in our life today, however, the only free market capitalism that exists today is illegal. Is allowing the poor opportunities to make honest money (something we do not have today) "horrible" for the the individual? Is the ideas of personal responsibility and free markets not good for those who need the money to survive?
And the verdict is that Ron Paul was 100% correct. Recent papers released show that the wars were and continue to be a massive self destructive boondoggle.
100% correct. 90 seconds to midnight. After the fall of the Soviet Union, these "well intentioned" mid-wits thought they could achieve world peace by aggressively preventing any new super-powers from emerging (source: Wolfowitz Doctrine). Fun to go back and learn about the history before everything goes poof.

The fact that a man of Ron Paul's impeccable integrity could not get elected president is proof positive that the political system is hopelessly broken.
"Yep. Fuch the American people. They had their chance. They had some freedom but now they have thrown it away. They will get what they deserve." -A bitter American
I'm more conservative but I consider myself libertarian. The libertarian party has gone off the rails but Ron Paul is a legit libertarian, he just puts an R next to his name so he'll be elected. I guarantee you that if Ron Paul had been given a real platform, he would have been elected President. 100%. He was the Republican party's best chance at beating Obama and some polls suggested that. But they didn't want a man like him in office. He was America first but also for complete civil liberties. The fact that someone like yourself who is "very liberal" would vote for Ron Paul, that tells the whole story. I'm not very liberal, I'm more conservative but socially liberal and I believe each state should be able to decide most issues. We would have both voted for the same man. We've got an extreme liberal and a moderate conservative saying we want the same person in office. The establishment doesn't want that. But we the people do.

I asked him face to face what could he do as President about the national debt. "Enforce Title 12 section 411" was his response. I smiled knowingly as that would wipe out the Fed and their IRS minions in a heartbeat.
@@billmelcher625 Trump is no Ron Paul. Rand Paul is no Ron Paul. This guy told the truth and was BOO'D by his own party during a leadership convention. Actually, the media did FAR worse, like Mike Gravel they simply ignored him.

CNN was the only news source giving him actual interviews and air time. Fox News did everything in their power to make sure the American people had no idea who he was or made him look crazy.
Thats ridiculous, you drive roads, have public transit. The US pays far less tax than any OECD country and it shows. Most OECD countries have national govenrments that tax and pay for higher educaiton and universal health care. Its partly that view that keeps ANY decent legislation off the books. But since the US federal government does NEITHER of those things, and pretty much takes your money to start wars to make other countries hate america, well, I can certainly understand the position. But to take an example, I did a comparison between my province of New Brunswick adn Maine. Maine has lower taxes, but no healthcare. So it turns out that the decrease in taxes is virtually indentical to what they pay in health insurance. Which means its not a question of saving money, that money simply goes to insurers rather than the government.
@@poptraxx418 You are only speaking for a minority of americans. In national polls now MORE than half not only agree with universal health care but want SINGLE PAYER, that means CLOSING DOWN insurance companies. More importantly, that number keeps increasing, so not only are you in the minority, you are in the ever decreasing minority. Maybe even smaller when you have kids and find your insurance company ups your co pay or you lose your job AND your insurance or you have surgery and insurers decide you are a risk and you can't even GET insurance, as about 100,000 americans a year find out. But private insurers and corporaitons thank you for your support, its helped earn them billions and help make innumerable number of americans miserable. Thanks for helping make the country a worse place.
redcomic619 oh, it’s just a privilege to watch your brilliant mind at work. Now could you do me a favor and tell me exactly why I’m wrong. Using....ya know....facts, evidence, reason (I know it’s probably not your forte).
SaveTheWest 412 Pat Buchanan is a racist piece of shit and you're lauding him as worthy of being the Vice President. You're nuts. Like Trump. Gary Johnson is the greatest thing to ever happen to the Libertarian Party and you people treat him like dog shit because he's a honest and decent human being who doesn't endorse rounding up brown people and putting them into concentration camps.
redcomic619 Are the Japanese “racist” for wanting to preserve their people and culture? Are the Nigerians “racist” for wanting to preserve their people and culture? Are the Jews “racist” for wanting to preserve their people and culture? Are South Koreans “racist” for wanting to preserve their people and culture? As yourself, why is it that only white western countries must be “diversified.” I know it’s hard for you, but try to remove the word racist from your vocabulary and brain altogether. Now analyze the concrete facts of the situation, and look at it from a purely common sense perspective. Don’t for a second believe the bullshit the puppet masters are feeding you, because they HATE you.
Maple A. Clearly you are not familiar with the cultures I mentioned. If you were to walk into Japan, for example, and lecture the natives on the wonders of “diversity” they would look at you like you’re mad. This multicultural/“diversity” agenda is ONLY pushed upon majority white, Western countries. If you were to tell the proponents of multiculturalism that white Europeans must be integrated into non-white societies, they would be disgusted. They’d smear you, and call you the typical names. I mean come on, you’re either too stubborn to admit it, or just blind to the blatantly obvious. Multiculturalism is anti-human nature, and the only way it’s ever achieved is through force. “Diversity” is simply code word for “less white.” We’re being duped by the elite and social engineers.
Even though I live in Poland Ron Paul is my personal hero, he should've been the president of United States in 2008 and 2012. Unfortunately your (ours all) true masters, those that control media, FED, ECB, pharmaceutical industry etc. will never allow free market changes that he advocates to be applied. I feel blessed nonetheless that I was there with you guys when he debated all the socialists during the elections.
Ron Paul is the Republican Bernie Sanders. I'm a moderate who's a big fan of Bernie Sanders and Andrew Yang. But I would vote for Ron Paul in a heartbeat. Proud that he's from Texas
@@Galtj38Bingo! Ron Paul in essence is a classical liberal that wants to limit the central government’s authority and abide by the Constitution. Today’s modern leftists and progressives have perverted the term liberal with their radical statist ideologies.
I was. 19 in the 2012 Ohio primary. He was the first person I ever voted for and the last person my grandfather ever voted for before he passed away in May of that year 😇
Mr. Paul, you are sooo right. We need to learn the value of Proverbs 26:17. Inserting ourselves into the business of trying to control others, whether it is next door, or across the ocean, you can not change other people’s point of view, especially by force or compelling arguments. People who want the power to “lord it over others” do that sort of thing. Even God did not send Jesus to do that. He offered the Truth and gave everyone the respect, by His own humility, to make their own choice. But God has always taught “cause and effect”, not withstanding.
Dr. Ron was right.. His message then, and decades ago, are Truth among the lies we were told by "them", and his message of liberty and the Constitution is the most vital tool to save us now.
999jsw it’s hopeless, unless the wars business got no more profits for those warmongers. The war is a racket, this book tell people we can’t stop wars unless we got the profit out of it. All the sons of political players got unearned board sits, all thanks to intervene in foreign countries, it’s a huge profit for the leading nation, and the poor nation paying the price by believing their propaganda of how bad other countries are.
Fox News and the GOP blackballed him and actively worked against him. It was so upsetting to watch. If only he had Trump level charisma without the negative traits.
He was TOO honest, I remember a debate like this but he criticized the government SO badly that it came out as anti american. He was right, but its the only time I've seen somebody running for party nomination and getting Boo'd by the crowd.
