Cobra IRS Hub and Bearing RR

Missed the pressing on and off of the bearing.....

@pkarol1 hub, one bearing, and one new 36 mm nut from ford. I talked the parts guy into getting a mechanic to remove the c clip, press out the old bearing, press in the new one, and replace the clip.

I have noticed a horrible vibration and bearing type sound coming from the right rear. I have taken the wheel off and tried shaking it to see if there is any give, but everything seems tight. do you think its this bearing. I can't think of anything else that it could be, but other than removing the whole irs assembly I have never taken the components apart. Thanks for the great vid by the way.

my friend right cv boot has been torn for quite a while. Do I have to pull the half shaft completely out or can I some how get it to stretch over the whole assembly.

I have an 03 cobra and it’s making a noise in the left rear sounds like it’s coming from the hub

i was told to drop the entire IRS and replace all ruber bushings to really help out the irs. not looking forward to it.

well the knuckle is hard to find..mine broke off hitting a curb

cant remember exactly... 10,000 miles or so at the time of repair... convertible, big power, lots of wheel hop... have since done suspension upgrades.

My drivers side did fail as well. My passenger side is tight

I gave this a thumbs down simply because it does not show the removal or installation of the hub from or back into the knuckle. That was the only reason I viewed this video.
