When reactors start Cobra Kai the finale of season 2 is one of the handful of episodes we all wait for it’s honestly a classic at this point I’ve rewatched that episode like 5 times 😭

19:01 Sam was a confused drunk teenager. Miguel DID reciprocate, although he did stop it as well. Rana was right. Sam and Miguel still had feelings for each other when they got into relationships with other people, which were not smart, but again, they're teenagers. 23:29 LOVED hearing your theories for the upcoming. Hopefully you'll enjoy! It's another wild ride! This probably the episode that REALLY draws the line among the fan base.

Notice Robby never drinks or turns to drugs. He saw what it did to his parents and he learned from it. Robby might be one of the smartest characters in the whole show. He is young and immature and has anger issues, but as far as him observing people and learning from their and his mistakes, he is one of the most intelligent characters.

15:11 Señor Octopus did exactly what he did in Miguel's video: he brought him and Sam back together. Depending who you ask, their minds weren't in the right place. However, we can't deny that their hearts were.

All Miguel needs to say “she was drunk, tripped, and kissed me, instantly apologized after I said it was wrong and not okay” and boom fixed, but of course it likely won’t happen like that

Octopus is Miguel and Sam’s relationship spirit animal. They got a stuff octopus on their first day. Tori knew Miguel was still in love with Sam when she first started to flirt with him; you can even argue that she went after Miguel after Sam pissed her off. Robby is a rebound for Sam which is never good; Sam clearly still in love with Miguel. You guys are also forgetting that Sam didn’t accuse Tori of stealing until after Tori admitted that she could still all of the silverware in the club and stole a bottle. So yes, anyone would believe Tori was the person to steal their mom’s bag when that never happened until someone who admitted to being a theft showed up. Johnny should tell Daniel. You guys are forgetting some stuff. Are you saying that you would be ok with your drunk daughter being at a grown man’s house who you barely know? Daniel barely knows Johnny like that; even then, they mostly had negative interactions. That is not ok. This isn’t someone the parents are close to and I like Johnny’s character more but that doesn’t mean I’ll agree with his bad decision makings if he doesn’t tell Daniel. Even if he talks to Amanda instead since she’s the more level headed of the two.

Navi is right about certain people being like the "gateway" to others discovering their sexuality. It's actually more common for people to discover their sexuality when they're with a partner who is perfect in every way but they still don't feel fulfilled (unlike Moon and Hawk because Moon dumped him for being a bully).

The series is amazing because its simple but smart, we knew the medal was going to be a thing, but its not revealed by Miguel or Robby, Aisha drops the bomb in a regular conversation, it sky rockets the drama but feels completely natural Another example is Robby showing up with Sam to Johnnys house, that didnt come out of nowhere, it came from his conversation with his mom and her telling him Johnny wanted him in his life, the decision making of the character is on point, even when is exaggerated or dumb, it has a source, makes sense

That's Daniel's daughter. It's different if it's a boy, but if it's a girl, fathers are more protective.

Continuing tradition of ep 9 making everything go wrong, it all goes wrong! Hawk almost got brought back but when his ego got bruised he reverted, and then Demetri doubled down hard. Sam and Tory’s rivalry also hit a twist, with Sam having the balance but not handling the booze, kissing Miguel in front of Tory (Pulpo means Octopus) who is already insecure about Miguel’s feelings for her since she came onto him by telling him to get over Sam. As for the adults, the rivals almost became friends again on a happenstance double date and nothing bad happened - except that Robby has brought a drunk Sam to his door. And now it’ll hit the fan

Count how many times we see Amanda drinking or holding a drink in her hand. From season 1 all the way up to season 5, she is constantly drinking. Almost every other scene with her, she is drinking. At home, at bars, at restaurants, at work, at breakfast, lunch and dinner, at their pool, in the country club, in the car, etc.

Poor simple innocent pat, why would you think these 2 girls gonna fight?

Navi is spot on about sexuality. Lots of guys get offended when their ex turns out gay. But she was always that way. Not everyone realizes their sexuality in the same way in the same timeline. Guys shouldn’t take it negatively. And vice versa, honestly. If a woman finds out her ex is a gay man, it wasn’t you, just move on with your life.

Yes, Johnny not telling Daniel immediately was no bueno. But I think he kind of did that because of him and Daniel's past. Even though they had a good night together, they are still distant from each other and there was still a lot of history underlying their tumultuous relationship. Especially since it was his own son that brought Sam to Johnny, he probably thought (rightly so it would appear after what happens in the next episode) that Daniel might interpret it badly and blame Johnny and Robby.

That was entirely Sam's fault what happened to her, and because Sam was so embarrassed, she never apologized to Tory for wrongly accusing her...instead she doubled down on her negative perception of Tory. 19:05 - Miguel didn't lean in, he was caught off guard...Sam kissed Miguel, then Miguel pushed her off as he came back to his senses, and Miguel was the one that rebuked Sam in the moment. Neither Miguel or Sam is over each other yet, but Miguel is upstanding and Sam has cowardice...so Miguel knows what happened is wrong, while Sam is only feeling rejected.

I know that Tory stole one bottle of Vodka, but Sam did start the rivalry with Tory but accusing her of stealing Amanda’s wallet, even though her best friend Aisha was with her the whole time and Sam literally put her hands on Tory and Tory acted on self defense, Sam acts so innocent but yet, gets surprised when someone comes back at her. I did like Sam at the end of Season 4 and Season 5

I didn't like how they try to make seem like Sam beat Tory in the drinking game because Tory was already drinking before her. She had more drinks than Sam already.

Bert (Tiny White kid) and Nate (Tiny Asian Kid) are top tier for me when it comes to beef between the dojos. If I recall, at least now, they both have black belts (Not sure if in Karate or other disciplines). Remember that Miguel's Grandma said she Liked Johnny.

Its funny for me as someone who has spent a lot of time training martial arts, people like pats belief "that just seeing red can carry you through", in fact genrally I've found it to be the opposite as people who become angry lose a lot of coordination. Also regardless seeing red will almost never let you defeat an opponent who has had better training.

Johnny needs to say something the same night they showed up. You can tell these guys have no kids, all their arguments are from the kids pov. Even the story they told was when they were in college, which isn't the same. If the families were close and it was a one time thing then sure, but these guys have hated each other for 30+ yrs.
