Completely agree, i cringe anytime i see someone start their bike and rev it or immediately take off before letting fluid get around the engine and trans.
I've built motors for years, started when I was 16 and have been doing it for a living since I was 18, it takes seconds for oil to get all the way through a motor, the only time you really have to actually pay attention to it is in very cold weather, not trying to be me know it all just saying from my personal life. (9 years of building motors)
@@aaronschuster3114 That may be true for some material, but on an Big Twin EVO motor the difference in the engine case and the jugs is the material and they heat up / expand at different time and temps, that's why you see base gasket leaks on an EVO motor, owners do not take the time to let the engine warm up before a throttle up. I've built/rebuilt a couple of Harley motors in my time mostly due to previous owners not taking care in a warm up cycle
Good comparison ! I just came across your channel in my feed actually and I'm happy to support your efforts and those of other fellow moto content creators. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from you in the future, keep up the great work and ride safe out there.
much mahalo, kind sir. i actually don’t have this bike anymore due to a major accident i had just going on 2yrs that locked me in a wheelchair for about 4mos. i now ride a roadglide spc 7mos after the accident. i appreciate your support for fellow riders. ride safe & God bless your kindness.
this CNH is a total joke for me. it's more of a neighbor lover. i only had this for a month before i replaced it. i now have the svt jackhammers with true dual headers. this setup will probably drown your evo with the thunderheader hehe. check it out.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rWIkrQBcYiE.html
these were the cobra neighbor haters. they’re not too loud. deep tone but pretty tamed. ii am now using tab performance & prior to that was svt jackhammers. if you want loud, those are what i’d recommend.
not louder than V&H but definitely deeper in tone. nice rumble when cruising, soft at idle, roars at WOT. although, i recently just switched to the TABs with zombie baffles.. now those bark! let me put it this way, the cobra NH is like a sophisticated lady with poise & class but will throw her heels in your face at will. the TABs are just straight up dirty wh0res that will blow you even if you're already drained haha!
Wish I knew you were pulling off those NH's, I would have bought them off you! You couldn't have put many miles on them. Is your stereo still stock and if so do the TABs interfere?
@@antoniobrown3219 about 50miles only on the NH. practically brandnew & mint condition. i only sold it for 250. i still have stock radio and tabs doesn't interfere 'when' cruising.
@@juliusebanculla3649 LMAO...that's a good analogy 🤣🤣🤣..but since u sold them..they must of been loud enough for u..the TABS are loud..the NH just look better to me with that chrome look inside that black bell shaped end
@@g929rr on this vid it was the neighbor haters. but i’ve had probably 5 pipes since this one. i’m currently running tabs on my RG.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z-x73_4MUJM.html
Hello Julius. I'm in the Market for my first Harley-davidson, and when I went to my local dealership, I wanted a Fatboy. The Dealership amongst others say that a guy like me at 6 foot 1, would not like the fatboy and want a Bike like yours or a Street Glide Ultra Classic. I now think the Bike I wanna have is just exactly like yours. What model is yours? Many thanks. Sal.
Hello from Holland, I have The fatboy low 2011 and just put on The cobra rpt3 on it. Even with The exchange db killers they sound loud. With earplugs it is bearable. Does The nbh sound even louder? Do you use earplugs to? That helmet doesnt isolate noise very much I think. Btw I like The cobra sound. Greetings, Martin.
Hi, Martin. Honestly, the RPT3 is only a tad louder than stock. The CNH is probably just a tad louder but definitely deeper than the RPT. Although, for my taste it's still pretty mellow. I actually call it Neighbor Lover haha. If you find these mufflers to be too loud for your personal taste, I think you'd be better off staying stock. You can probably get the Rineharts. My current setup now will probably drive you insane haha ✌😊
You're joking right? I pulled off one of the stock tips of my 2016 Fatboy and i couldn't even see through it. The tip upgrades are wide open so of course it will be louder (a few octaves only). The sound and tone changes as well. Sure, a full exaust system is the best however, I was quoted $2,700 by the Reno Harley dealership. The tips are around $400 and you aren't required to add a tuner. I spent so much on my bike this month I'm fucking broke. Lol Tips for me.... for now.
@@sbw89 it's because they're quoting you with labor. replacing a motorcycle exhaust is just as easy as replacing your mirrors. do them yourself & save money. also, they're not called tips. they're called slip on mufflers. a tip is just that, the tip of the mufflers. if you're just after the sound, then slipons are fine. but if you want the better sound & performance, you also have to change the head pipes (full exhaust job). you gotta pay if you want to play.
@@sbw89lol,,Never go to Harley dealership!! Super easy job! Do it at home and save two grand! There most likely charging you for the tuning also.but that seems kinda high even for HD dealership
Hello Julius, Thanks for The reply. You are realy " hardcore Harley " I think :-) A tad louder than stock? The stock ( Fatboy low 2011) is realy like a wet farth. First I had The Rinhart 3 inch slipon in my mind. Then The revzilla dude says they are loud as hell. People on youtube says that The cobra rpt 3 are nice. I have my fatby bought (my first Harley) in november 2019. I think The cobra rpt 3 is at least trippe loud as stock. I do like The sound of cobra. Maybe im a novice Harley rider :-) and must train my ears. Have a safe ride, Greetings, Martin.
martin, if you find the rpt to be a little loud to be comfortable, then i think that the cnh will yield the same result for you. the reason why i said they're a tad louder than stock because the range of volume that i compare these mufflers to are very wide and very loud. you seem to have developed a sensitive ears for the exhaust volume, but if you will hear some of the louder setup, you will know why i said that the rpt & cnh is just a tad louder than stock.
honestly, they can (if you want to get literal & technical about everything that you read). then here’s my RGS with zombie baffles. do you think the undead can tell the difference? what a turd lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z-x73_4MUJM.html
not sure why they are called neighbor haters cuz my neighbors would love if i put something that quiet on my bike. i roll true dual straight pipes on my electra glide. sounds like top fuel dragster backing out the garage.
you are absolutely correct. not only that the rineharts are a bit louder, better tone too. i just love how the rineharts sound, but just short of the volume that i'm looking for, in which i found after i switched to the svt jackhammers. check out my video on the svt when you get a chance. ride safe always brotha 🤙🏾
Julius can you even mesure The decibel at idel with a telephone app? My fatboy 2011 gives at idel 90 db and I consider it loud, but I understand it is not in The Harley world. Just So I have an idea where The cobra rpt 3 stand. Thanks in advance. And I prefer The sophistic lady with The high heels for every day. And The wild one for weekends. And hope to survive her.
let me put it this way, my 2016 roadster1200 with v&h shortshots measured 116db. my current setup now (bassani true duals, svt jackhammers, se 447 torque cam, rsd clarity breather, fp3) is even louder. 90db for me is like being inside a library haha.
here's my current setup. listen to it with earphones & you'll know what i mean when i throw the word 'loud'.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rWIkrQBcYiE.html
@@juliusebanculla3649 Wow wow Thats serious, What about your ears? Be carefull with them friend :) Better use earplugs. I know it im a little deaf (Army) already. I will never ever say that my slipons are too loud.
Nope,@@juliusebanculla3649 ...none of my bikes have stock exhausts!🤣 I'm a very pleased customer of Vance & Hines, Rinehart, TCX and Yoshimura! I don't understand why my comment about exhausts not sounding "stock" triggered you so dramatically, but, whatevs, brah!

thanks! i've only had that CNH for about a week before i sold it. this is my setup now: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rWIkrQBcYiE.html
i had the tabs with zombies for like a week (after this set, read the comments), before i upgraded to my current setup now, SVT jackhammers. my jackhammers are much louder than the tabs w/ zombies. check it out & see for yourself. even a friend of mine with 114 tabs/zombies admitted it lol.. here >>> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rWIkrQBcYiE.html
@@howboutthat2912 nope. totally not the case. jackhammers are much deeper & louder. the tabs with zombies are very raspy. sounds like a hollow can. that's exactly why i only kept my tabs for just several days.
@@howboutthat2912 my tabs won't even setoff my car's alarm or other neighbor's car alarm because no rumble. my hackhammer always sets them off. the tabs are the worst sounding can. i've had 5 different exhaust within 2yrs and the tabs are the only one i cannot stand the sound that's why i had to replace it after like 3days even if i lose money.
honestly, i don’t remember. it’s been 5 yrs & i’ve had probably a dozen other pipes after the cnh. if my memory serves me correctly, it’s probably about $400-$500
i had all of that replaced before my bike turned 3 months old. went through 5 pipes & 2 sets of headers the 1st year. this video was 3 yrs ago. i’m on a RGS now & replaced my pipes 2x with my bassani power duals.
Geeez what year of Harley is that? looks relatively new and already blowing blue smoke....Oh that's right it's a Harley they're supposed to blow blue smoke....wait for another 200 miles and you will be doing major work on that rear cylinder because of the archaic technology Harley uses. Save your money and someday you can buy a good bike.....Stay safe Bruh.....nice to see you're not wearing those white tennies anymore.
it’s called cold start (condensation) lol. also, in fairness to HD, i still see 40 year old harleys that are still running strong. hardly i see other manufacturers that have their old bikes on the road. about the white tennies, i still wear them haha. been wearing them since high school. this vid was about 2 years ago & here’s my new ride RGS. still with white tennies lol 🤙🏾 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z-x73_4MUJM.html
this, my friends, is an indication that someone does not ride and is only here to drool on their dream bikes that they obviously cannot get. nobody in the motorcycle world should be trusted, nor have the right to open their mouths about motorcycles when they think that a stock exhaust is better than an aftermarket one. smh
it’s not. that’s why i only had it for about a month before i replaced it. here’s what i’m rockin now on my rgs. totalled the sgs last year.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z-x73_4MUJM.html
Your rear cylinder is exhibiting some issues with heat, sumping and run out tollerances. It,'ll all downhill from here... Hope your piggy bank is stuffed.
this is a cold start & sumping is not an issue since my oil pump has been upgraded. what piggy bank are you talking about? i have full extended warranty haha
