Coca Cola Driver Merchandiser Pay Unfolded 

I just started with Coca Cola united. Large store relief merchandiser the job is definitely hard to get used to lol.

It pays different everywhere. Where I live it pays $25/hr and makes time and a half (ot pay) for anything over 40. The CDL drivers work 4-….10 hour shifts a week and can pick up a small route on their day off for OT pay if you want it. The non CDL positions work 5-….8 hour shifts.

There’s things you can do to cut down on time. I will normally walk my store first and see what they need on the shelves after I do check in then I plan accordingly so I’m not pushing a cart twice through the aisles. Convenience stores I will glance to see if I can fit a whole case on the shelf or at least half. If I can get half the product on I’m not going open a whole case of 24 oz of 20 soda to throw on shelf instead I try to use the back stock up first if not then I will place on the shelf. The job can pay alittle more but it does pay the bills for me and I can’t complain. Once you get the hang of it. It does seem to get easier. Can’t be afraid of work. Or be afraid to work. Good experience for new drivers can be very backing intensive job. We use mostly 36 ft trailers occasionally I will use a 45 or 53 but the longer trailers our mostly used to bump the docks.

Also every location is different I average around 10 hours a day but occasionally I will hit 12 hours a day very rarely I would ever have to bring stops back. Are team does pay attention to what we have on our trucks to make life easier either by adding a helper or putting a stop on some one else. But if they do that they might give that person a helper. Dollar generals can be a pain because of the check in process every location is different as to how they check in. We get a day rate and commission off of every case bulk routes are hourly. And the location I’m at is union.

I do decent at my location no less than a thousand a week. My pay after taxes I average 2190 take home but I get a lot of big drops at grocery stores and Walmarts. I thought I would be slow at it but surprisingly 23 years of driving and going to the gym has helped me. My management team I drove for like 4 years so if I take a route out that’s pretty low paying they will give me extra stops like drops to help me out. Just like anything I will have my good and bad days. Still easier than food service can be difficult if you’re not paying attention to how you deliver the stops. Sometimes you have to go out of order especially on stops that are already open opposed to stores that are closed compared to what you should get off the truck first. What I don’t like is they will send us sometimes to a stop where there is very little room to park so you might have to get there super early. I start most of my days either at 330am or 4am but no later than 430am

165 a day seems very low for class A driver. I make 220 at amazon as a regular delivery driver 😂

We all seriously need to unionize. The day pay rate is just another way to screw people over. I can't believe there are areas of Coke that allowed that to happen. I would have quit if we'd gone to that. I work for Coca Cola Arca. I make 20 an hour as an ORM(order replenishment merchandiser) I rarely work under 10 hours a day. Our drivers make around 30 and up an hour.

One thing I did notice in this video is that this guy is not following training…… he is clearly not performing the hinge to handle rotation

Si el pago es bueno y vale la pena cambiar el estilo de vida por vivir ahí ahí trabajar ahí hay que me pueda envíe olvides 12 horas de trabajo pero bien pagado pues que tiene que ser paguen más de $30 la hora pero para que valga la pena y podrás ahorrar para para salir adelante pues
