Onni cockatoo has an intense bond with his owner/daddy, Scott. Grooming is a social and bonding behavior among birds. Sweet Onni loves Grooming Scott and Scott bravely allows him showing great trust. I enjoy sitting with Onni and helping his pin feathers where he can't reach and making believe I'm grooming him for bonding and his enrichment.

OMG, this is so precious and priceless. My yellow-naped Amazon reacts this way with my daughter. Sometimes, they select one special person for certain activities. Talk about total trust and love. Our adorable Onni knows he won the Daddy and Mommy lottery.🤍💛🤍💘💘💘

out of all the yelling, the aggression, the bad behaviors, there is also the sweet side. When I decide to adopt a cockatoo and care for it, I hope one day it will bond with me this way, Cockatoos are so amazing, I've the bad videos of them, i've sat on it, and thought about it, in the end...when you really love your cockatoo, in the end, it will be worth it. You will have a long time friend and family member, because a cockatoo is a part of your family.

My pet bird would preen my eyebrows and eye lashes, too, and anywhere there's hair. Even my arm hair and they'd preen my dad facial hair and chest hair and his hair on his head and leg hair and chew on our toe nails and finger nails and pick at our zits and pimples and skin tag and bite dad nipples at curiosities 😆 and he even yelp when they pinch his nipples to hard to the point that he had to put a wash cloth or a hand towel over his nipples so they'll leave it alone 😅😅😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣😅😆😅🤣😂🤣😅😅😆😆😆😅😅🤣🤣😂😂

I used to have an umbrella cocktoo so I know! 😆 It really hurts to get bitten by them but it's rarely happened to me and never with my own bird because you learn to read their body language really well. They make it obvious to the people who have been around them long enough to see the signs.

I love onni.he is such a sweet baby boy. You can absolutely see the love and trust in his eyes as you are grooming him, also as he is grooming daddy Scott . There is a whole lot of love in your family and i can't think of a better family for himm than your family 💕💕💕

I had neighbors who had a white beatiful cockatoo. His name was Henry. His cage was right by the screened window facing my house. He was very vocal, but didn't want much to do with me when I came over to say hi to him. I just pictured him thinking, "You're not my mom!" Anyway, I had a sweet gentle female calico cat that I would let outside to "sunbathe" in the yard. Henry would see her and yell out the window, "Cat! Cat! Cat!" I found this hilarious. Henry was NOT a fan of cats. 🤣
