Bf5s animations actually look... human. And the garand sound is way better in bf5, coming from someone who has in fact fired a garand multiple times in real life.
@@VitoScaletta1951 I can tell, i used to play Medal Of Honor: Heroes on my PSP way back, and the guns in that game actually had unique sounds for each gun, which surprisingly was pretty accurate or realistic to their real life counterparts when it came down to the specific tone, reverb, moving parts and or general sound of the guns. M1 Garand, Kar 98, Thompson submachine gun, Mp40 submachine gun, M1911 pistol, Luger pistol, Panzerchreck, and Bazooka. All were weapons i can clearly picture and actually memories the sounds of specifically and be able to tell you what they are with my eyes closed based on the sound alone, BFV/BF5 perfectly replicates the unique sounds that i heard from that game and the real life guns like the Mp40 slight muffled knocking, the ping of the M1 Garand, the loud crack of the Kar 98 etc. All really well done and easily able to tell the unique sounds.
@@mamiwitch Ok we’re not hating on call of duty. But this is a comparison video and if you’re trying to decide which one is more accurate in animation, detail, and sound, battlefield was the obvious answer. Cod still does good but they are always stuck with the arcadish feel.
@@nonoman3246 Because IW are working on MWII? Also this is the same reason why Cold War was a disaster at launch. Mfs at Activision broke the cycle to put Treyarch in Sledge's seat last year.
@@shinomakichuppy8236 So, by this standpoint, if Activision Actually decided to Cold War for Sledgehammer, and Vanguard for Treyarch, both games would become successful?
I declare BFV’s M1 Garand animations, sound design, and weapon model to be superior than COD Vanguard. Especially because BFV’s M1 Garand has multiple reload variations, due to the fact that the M1 Garand is unpredictable when reloading.
I think I noticed that Cod vanguard is using the same sound for the bolt action sequence in every rifle and also they sound similar to Cod waw. If you pay attention to Arisaka and Kar-98 is really weird to see
Vanguard comes close for some. But most the guns sounded suppressed. edit: also whats up with the iron sight posts in vanguard, they just look..obstructive. BF nailed the sight picture aesthetically and for gameplay. especially on what i think it was called the type 11? it looks stupid and harder to aim
At least BFV has the decency to use an actual M1928A1 while Vanguard M1A1 is called M1928 and they just illogically slapped the drum mag inside just like WAW
Mostly i will play COD modern warfare instead of COD Vanguard and Cold War. BFV has been getting a lot of hate from the audience but the details that BFV capture is very astonishing. It's crazy how the majority of people play BFV for the gameplay, but i wish those people will recognize the unique elements in the game. Also COD zombies goes crazy, can't forget the classic since COD World at War :D
As for vanguard reloads, I honestly don’t think that such tactical reload techniques as you see in modern warfare don’t belong in a ww2 setting. I’m pretty such that militaries didn’t teach such tactics back then
And real gun recoil i so crazy that at long ranage youre better of using single shot than full auto, like in insurgency(the entry point for tactical shooters)
@@sovietstronk7917 Battlefield 5 may have not been so realistic but it was chaotic, fun and had good graphics if a game has 3 of those elements thats all I need to love it.
Honestly vanguards firing sounds aren't bad like they're loud, but the echoes for the guns are inconsistent with some sounding great while others not so much
It's like Sledghammer games and treyarch cant seem to make up their minds on wether or not to have realistic weapon sounds or not like vanguards gun sounds sound like all the guns are being fired in a bottle
People were mad when it didnt have the ping with the mag in WaW i think? Idk its another ww2 COD, so they added it here now and people are still complaining😂
Their are some tiked where vanguard did better then battle field like the mp40 for example theirs no cocking handle on it but their is in vanguard like in real life.
Where the f*ck did you record the bf5 gameplay for the MG42? In the video when there is no ammo you can still see rounds in the belt and when you use the bipod the accuracy from the hip fire doesn't improve, the bipod doesn't show up and the gun has tons of recoil. When I play there is none of these issues.
This map is a really bad example for Vanguard. Weakest lighting of all the maps in the game and the audio is bugged so it's playing the wrong reverb tail. Guvutu would have been a better choice. That's not to imply the game looks or sounds better than BFV (it doesn't) but it would be a little more fair if it wasn't on a weirdly configured map that's full of audio bugs and has a really terrible color palette
@@dastrocreations5058 A sound mixer doesn't make sounds, lol. Battlefield devs use sound mixers as well. They exist to mix sound, or more accurately, to master it. CoD Vanguard, CoD WWII, hell every CoD back to World at War aside from the Modern Warfare sequels used real gun audio that was recorded. The difference has always been that the CoD engine was never good at rendering audio and so the guns never sounded good. Now that we have a good audio engine thanks to Modern Warfare 2019's innovations, it's easier to make guns sound like actual guns and not just field recordings compressed to shit. CoD Vanguard's bad audio quality is all due to poor mixing and mastering on the devs' part. They either didn't record with the right equipment or very inconsistently mixed and mastered the guns, which is why the guns sometimes sound good, and other times sound thin and tinny. Nearly every modern FPS uses real gun audio and not synthesized gun sounds. On the other side of the coin, it's possible to have very lifelike sounding synthesized guns. Every Insurgency game for example uses synthesized gun sounds, from the original mod, to Insurgency 2, Day of Infamy, and even Sandstorm, but the guns in those games sound incredibly visceral and lifelike. It's not about what you use, it's about how you use it.
Why people keep hating call of duty... Only because its a game?! Or you dont know what to do. Call of duty and battlefield i think that are very good games
I think most are just disappointed or unexcited at this point. Activision has been spewing out Call of Duty stuff for like... three years in a row. We had Modern Warfare, then Warzone, then Cold War, more Warzone, then Cold War again, more Warzone, probably even more Warzone, now this. And this was all in three years non-stop. Vanguard doesn't look new and exciting. It has a mediocre campaign, boring multi-player, and just more trash content. They gave us everything we wanted three years ago. But they keep feeding the same dinner over and over again. It then gets old and tastes almost the same every time. They should just take a break. You know, deviate away from the series a bit and try something fresh. Tackle something that a lot of people want that isn't Call of Duty nor a boring-ass shooter. And maybe take more time in their games. We're not impatient or anything. We let them have as long as they need to make a good game.
Another reason never to buy a game made by sledgehammer. Vangaurds sounds are almost identical to Ww2, its like they didn't even try to update that cheap sound, every reload has that crappy metallic tang that's just frankly off-putting, BFV Is Beautiful, and you can really tell Dice gave those guns lots of justified love, while Sledgehammer.... well they may as well have not even changed the title, just put WW2 with Mws Engine, would've been more accurate.
Well tbf, the graphics for multi in vanguard is downgraded alot comapred to the campaign. The good thing about that, is it can run on 120 fov with no frame drop on old gen consoles. Gameplay>> Graphics imo
Points to BFV or Vanguard Reloads: Vanguard Weapon sound effects: BFV Lighting: BFV Weapon models: BFV and Vanguard Gameplay: BFV and Vanguard Maps: BFV Weapon selection: BFV Small details in maps: BFV and Vanguard Small details on Operator: BFV Vanguard: 4 BFV: 8 points
I'll admit, some of the animations, particularly for the bolt-actions aren't half bad, but most of the animations and definitely the lighting quality is a significant downgrade from MW2019, which is an insult considering both games use the same engine.
Whoever made those gun foley sounds for Vanguard needs to be fired and blacklisted from the industry because holy fuck they're bad. EDIT: Also, word of advice, don't record clips in BFV's shooting range. It's buggy as hell and a lot of the guns are broken in at least one way, like how the MP-40 doesn't have a charging handle.
Because He is testing on PS 4 LOL. Lowest and Downgraded Graphic with dynamic 720p resolution. Test it on PC with RTX on and the graphic is amazing in both Games
CoD VG is a another down grade WW2 game I hate the fact the there is a flipping StG44 in Nirth Africa and the Pacific And god Sledge just didn't care about “Weapon balancing” and wft? BFV makes me wanna play it
