I love your videos. I’m an old fan of you. But I’m still waiting for your React with typescript. As we switched/ are switching to typescript world. I hope you create mid level/mid to advanced level react with typescript course or video series. Thanks for your efforts! :)

Perfect timing. I was about to rewatch some of the lessons from your React course (great course btw) but this has been a great refresher. Also I was confused about some of the differences between the Webpack setup in the React course and the Webpack Tutorial video but I'll probably just use Vite now lol. Configuration seems MUCH simpler.

Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful. I'm also pretty impressed with how easy / fast Vite is.

@@LearnWebCode you have a Udemy course that people are paying for. You may want to drop in and fix the mess you're ignoring over there.

Does anyone know how he does the square highlight?? It's kind of like a snippet but it just highlights a rectangle/square area. Great way to teach concepts through online video

Thanks for the interest! I've been filming videos for it non-stop; I'm getting close to the end of the course, hoping to launch it within the next two to three weeks.

Brad, everywhere on internet is that: I must use Redux in React when I will make big projects, its not posible live without it lol. It is true in 2022? I know about Context provider, its fully solve Redux lib isn't it? I like your "keep it f***ing simple" mind in your vids.
@LearnWebCode
@LearnWebCode Год назад
I feel like the real value of Redux is if you're working with an entire team of developers instead of just creating a project as a solo JS dev. With a team of devs it is nice to have a less opinionated way of organizing things so I think Redux would be great. But, as a solo dev I feel like between Context Providers, useReducer and Immer, state management is pretty ideal even without Redux.

hi Bred, does useImmerReducer support TypeScript? thanks

So is there a difference of naming your files .js than .jsx?
@LearnWebCode
@LearnWebCode 2 года назад
I normally name mine .js but Vite's default React boilerplate starts with the files as .jsx and I didn't bother to experiment with it. I don't think it makes any difference, one bonus is that VS Code will use the correct syntax (for Emmet tab triggers in JSX) without any extra configuration.

I love to have this game in Spanish?... would be possible?
@LearnWebCode
@LearnWebCode 2 года назад
I think the dog breeds from the API are only available in English. But as for the "Game Over" screen text, you could definitely make sure all the words that get output in the JSX are in Spanish. A fun extra credit feature might be to add a state property called "language" and let the user toggle between Spanish and English and the Game Over screen text could switch back and forth on the fly.

can you do nextjs ?
@LearnWebCode

After the current big project I'm working on is finished, Nextjs is the next topic I'm going to cover 👍. If you want to learn Nextjs right now, I'm a big fan of Academind and Max's teaching style. I'm pretty sure the Academind channel has a few videos about Next.

We appreciate your free videos, but we have paid course that is not working; we stacked due to old information; thousands of people are waiting for your update, but there is no response. Would you please help update java and npm in your course WordPress Developer: Unlocking Power With Code? We are getting errors, and the solution you have added is not working and is also old. Thanks
