AUG: ''Hey, guys, can we start with the work?'' (Like the most responsable member of a group of study) UAG, UAA, UGA: ''Ok, guys, it's done! Protein is finish. Go for some drinks!'' (Like the bad guys who only wants to go out and they did not do nothing for the class work during the afternoon) Sorry for mistakes in those sentences haha. Thanks a lot for this video. Greetings from Colombia!
Hey, can you guys help me? I'm gonna determine the amino acid chain from the mRNA: AUG-CGU-UCU-GCU-GGU-UAG. There's a "Stop" codon from the sequence. Should I put "Stop" in the sequence like this: Met-Arg-Ser-Ala-Gly-Stop? Or not? Is this correct? Please correct me, I'm really just confused. Thanks in advance for those who will help! 😊
Super helpful! I was reading my college textbook referring to proteins and codons and DNA triplets... I became lost. But this helped visualize what the textbook was saying, thank you!!!
Is UAG always a stop codon, most of the case, or just in this case, and it can vary? as well as for AUG, is it always the start codon, or just in this case?
They say that if your ears are burning then someone is talking about you. Well, not in my case. I woke up with burning ears in the early hours of the morning last week to find that the bedroom was on fire. However, I can’t rule out the possibility someone may have been talking about me at the same time so there could be some truth in it.

I came because I have to make a video and I didn't know how to pronounce it, xd, we still don't see this topic in my class but when we see it I will know a little more jakfkdj, thank you from Mexico :p
Hey, then triplet codons means what?? Is it the group of 3 codons in sequence. I am confused. Because triplet codon consists of three nucleotides this means that codon and triplet codon are one and the same as you shown that the group of three nucleotides is called as codons. Or it is 3 codons in sequence each having three nucleotides.. What is anticodons??
Im not an expert but I hope this helps you I think you mean Triple code, triple code refers to 3 nucleotide , which is one codon. 3 codons in a sequence is just 3 codons ,containing 9 nucleotide Anticodons are the codon of the tRNA. You can read up more on Central dogma (translation) but what it basically how it works is that in order for the amino acid to even get to the ribosome and be attached with other amino acid , a tRNA attached to the amino acid (aminoacyl tRNA) with an anticodon complementary to the codon enters the A site (amino arcyl site) , So for instance if the codon is AAA, a tRNA with anticodon UUU (remember no Thymine in RNA) will enter the A site ,bringing the amino acid (Lysine)
me rida mRNA cant start with a stop codons. It must start with a starting codon so it can amino acids or synthesis ov protein. As soon as it has been realized that the amino acid sequence for that specific protein has been completed then there comes a stop codon (UAG, UGA, UUA..) and stop the sequence.
@@learnbiologically Sir is this the way that the dna can tell which proteins or hormones mutations to produce alote more then others? And lastly is this cudons found in rna or the dna itself...
A nitrogenous base, in this case is just the letter. Adenine, thymine, guanine, cytosine, (and uracil with RNA). A nucleotide is the nitrogenous base, but also with a 5-carbon sugar and a phosphate group.
I'll give you a clue. When you have an RNA code and you don'n know if it is mRNA or tRNA look at the and of the code.If it is UAA or UAG or UGA then it is tRNA.Else it is mRNA
So..RNA is to DNA as genes are to chromazones? The dna spirl has little RNA seedlings/strings/material which Is comprised of 7 codons which together pool to in turn spin into an amino acid which when complete takes the purpose of a protein?
