The biggest reason I wanna join the fire service is for the life risking job it is. It don’t seem fair to me that while they run towards the fire we run from it. I’ve got the outmost respect for those serving in this country, first responders to the military. Love you all!!
No cop ever helped me with my freedom. Not all cops, but we in this country, crush your rights, have a bad attitude, Harry trigger fingers, making laws as they go, forgetting about our rights, not even caring, believing my rights dont matter when comes to pulled over, stopped on the St, no knock worrents, so many times they're at wrong house. You decided to become a cop, you. You need to put your life in danger by step by step respect rights of all individuals, if someone may get hurt, sorry, but your sighned that contract. All are innocent tell proven guilty even that persons home your bout to just kick door in & not even a worming. You knock everyone knows whats up. Yea more dangerous for you worming home owner & maybe convicted felon, but you are the cop you know its part of the job & thats an American not yet guilty with rights & my job to protect them rights. We need more detectives then street cops. Security guards on the street is what we should have. Not a damn cop who is geared up like he's in Afghanistan. Bad shit happens, it will, in a free nation. We use detectives. Politicians all in every state mandated to get rid of all petty laws unconstitutional laws, so less confronted by police will Security guard they should be.we worry bout murders rape hurting kids women, steeling any kinds of violence, holding against will, victim crims no victory. No crime period. We need to fix our police style 100%. Dont agree what ever. Typical American, aint happening to me who cares even know it aint right unconstitutional, & 100% just not good for freedom & so un-American, we can't have the kind of policing we have today if we want freedom & 100 these cops bet 70% atleast would just end up being right hand for government comes down to it & that's not good. FBI, Shouldnt even be allowed to chat with you without local departments knowing befor hand & being out there for your protection not the FBI agents.. but instead cops today are leading the FBI pack knocking down your door for them...

What freedoms, exactly, are.the.military protecting in Syria, while stealing that sovereign nations oil ? Or in Afghanistan, patrolling and protecting opium fields for big pharma.

This isn't about the government, it's not political, it's not about color, it's not about war, it's not about good or bad decisions. It's about our flag and what it means and why it flies high, it's about the people who wake up and dress for a job they may not come back from, it's about the idea that we are free to even have this discussion, it's about the men and women who wake up and provide for their families in any way they can because of the opportunity they have, it's about the idea of freedom and God given rights, not some corrupt politician or the idea of fear they spread. The red, the white, and the blue. That's why we're proud. Take your negative ass somewhere else if you can't appreciate and don't like that.
Will Brown The U.S. takes EVERY available opportunity to push faux patriotism down our throats via guilting us into supporting our troops/our country with such displays. There is nothing honourable or worthy of support in our military these days and little within our forces of law and order, which is what is primarily being touted here. You’re either a dupe, or so deprived socio-economically that you think signing up to be potential murderers for empire is a better deal than whatever else you can find. That’s a country that is not to be proud of. That’s a country deliberately railing it’s middle and lower class into submission and subservience/obedience. That’s a country that can’t find the money for a decent standard of health care, education and living for its most needy but can find enough money to feed its military with a budget greater than the next 8 top spending countrys’ military budget combined. And growing. That’s a country so bereft of moral direction and service to its citizens that the military, with more than 800 KNOWN bases world wide, is its only means of maintaining some semblance of power and prominence globally. Because it can do fuck all else. Such pride.
