I've been receiving a lot of recommendations from old Cody's videos and it's always a delight. Cody's is a treasure for the curious minds over there. It saddens me to know that RU-vid blocked his payment 2 years ago, because of a hacking accident on his account, and the automatic support system is making resolving the issue impossible. Damm, the man deserves every penny from all those views.... RU-vid is the worst.
it's incredible to see this being posted less than a year ago, when you are now already at 400,000 subscribers! You deserve it man honestly you make some of the best videos on youtube.
It's amazing to see this being posted just a few months ago, when he is now almost at 800,000 subscribers! Glad to see making actual, informational content pays off.
@@watsoncastelino3205 why he is gaining subs so slow though? I mean he has some real high quality content but 4 years to get to two million from one is pretty slow for a channel like this.
Checking in at 750k subscribers. Damn... I mean I've watched probably a hundred at least so far. It's amazing. The dogs, the girlfriend, the mine, the chemicals, the science man. The science is so humbling. Like it bridges the gap between what I feel is just geniuses doing genius things for companies, down to like a tony stark just making shit. I know it's not engineering mostly. But I'm just impressed by what he does from home.
You haven't even met me I can turn some things at the paint store in to a block of zombieban lol turns an entire horde of zombies into thier base elements in under one second lol
Cody your passion for science fascinates mine. I always look forward to learning more and more everyday, thanks to your videos and interesting view on how to "do what you can with what you have". I'm a huge fan and only wish to procure even half of what you have. your truly a role model and a mentor to my mind.
Damn I've been here since this video. In less than a year you've increased your subscriber count by almost 20 times. Congrats, Cody! You deserve every subscriber you get!
just started watching your video's. I like the projects you have going on. I'm envious of your ranch. my wife would never move that far from her family.
Love the new video format. You've probably had two queens in one hive before and know several bee keepers who had had two laying queens in a hive before, mother and daughter.
Checking back on this video at around 1.5 million. So satisfying seeing Cody just happy to have 2500 subscribers and I think anyone would be really humbled to see that number of people want to see their content , let alone a whopping 1,500,000 million people , keep being you Cody.
This is one of the most interesting projects you've had (and you've had many). I like how you have solved many of the obvious problems with very simple solutions. I still would be wary around that much hydrogen, but this looks like something that could actually be made work as a small scale hydrogen plant for cooking fuel powered by off-grid solar.
It's so nice to see this. Right now, cody has got a video up which, in one day, got up to 271K views. That's over 50 times as much! Keep on rocking, Cody!
Holy carp, this video is now just over 6 months old and you've gone from 2,500 subs to nearly 115,000 ! That's a pretty impressive growth rate... well done and keep up the interesting and informative work.
it's weird, this hydrogen/oxygen splitter project is one of your most memorable projects (to me) but this video may have passed me by, i don't know why or how i missed it, but seriously you making this machine plus making an oxy-hydrogen burner is one of the projects i would use to describe you to someone who hasn't heard of you as a youtuber.
One even more amazing thing is that you now have over 200 000 views on some of your videos, and over 180 000 subscribers! You have gotten lots of people to watch in a short period of time.
I do like this format but please don't stop doing full project videos either when a project is completed because it is really cool getting to see it all in one video in case I missed one.
love your videos Cody, I really like science and you make it more interesting. I think that you have and will inspired many people around the world to get into science and experiment by your videos and wish you all the best in upcoming projects
wow, 5 whole thousand views in a day? must be weird watching this again now with so many subscribers. speaking of which, I have been non stop watching your videos so I have finally caved and hit the subscribe button haha. and also, you are a badass Cody, never change.
This video is awesome! Your autonomous water splitter is amazing and really inspires me to want to make something similar.... Maybe combine it with the liquid nitrogen generator and autonomously generate liquid nitrogen and oxygen! (Maybe even hydrogen?)
Why are you surprised? You make great videos with interesting content and you have an excellent way to explain and present complicated science in a simple manner without making your viewers feel unintelligent. Between Cody's Lab, Smarter Every Day and Brave Wilderness I have all the content on a weekly basis to keep me entertained and interested.
Cody be you are an extraordinary person engineer and scientist. I'm love watching your projects. With this one, what is your intention once you have water split into hydrogen and oxygen? Do you intend to make a hydrogen or oxygen powered engine and turn a generator? There's so many applications to make sustainable power generation from splitting water, even with simple solar based electrolysis. Thanks you're a testament to humanity's potential. Keep it up
This 'almost 3 year' old video was recommended to me by RU-vid after watching your new "Will Osmium Dissolve in Gallium?" video. I've wanted to do this on an industrial scale, since we did the experiment in 5th or 6th grade. Never did because of safety concerns. Lately, (well for the last three years, at least) I've been wanting to make and store wood gas in compressed state and see how long it will stay combustible or if there is a shelf life.
Interestingly, RU-vid recommended this old video of his. It seems I wasn't the only one! It's astonishing how quickly he grew from 2500 subscribers to almost a million. 😂
Hey Cody my name is Sam I am 12 years old, I live in Texas, and i have been watching your videos for about a year now and i am greatly inspired by your videos. I have done many projects of yours and I love your videos! I also like the way you create projects based on what you have laying around, and creating solutions to every day problems, as well as problems we will have in the future. - your biggest fan Sam
Video Wishlist: Hydroponic Greenhouse build. (look up aquaponics and $300 pvc greenhouse). liquid nitrogen generator build (make your own liquid nitrogen by compressing the air!). feed the bees by scattering seeds for flowers before spring gets here so they have new food available in the future. want to see methane digester rebuild and do's and dont's list for working it. tip: i learned today that one of the byproducts of water distilling is a substance used in the mining industry for controlling dust... would like to know more about that.
The oxygen side of this apparatus scares me. I envision the arcing of the compressor brushes in a pure O2 atmosphere and I see the brushes, compressor, all that plastic and subsequently the house above going up in flames. I hope you never let the O2 compressor start unattended.
i like the update lets play style better it shows off what your up to more realistically and allows faster updates of unfinished things. BUT the waiting until completion to get a video is also nice as it allows people to watch only what they want so they just go to the episode on "topic" and dont have to worry about what they dont want. Both styles are good whichever you prefer making i like best
Man, I would love to live up there and help you out doing all sorts of cool science and self-sustainability stuff. And I would love to work in your mine with you, that would be cool. Keep making the great vids.

Of course we like the content you put together! Keep those videos coming
Best channel on youtube by far, next to ave. Always interesting and brilliantly executed. I think if you could do a collab with ave there could be nothing better in my opinion.
