After getting your swedish wrap die for silver dollars my rings are turning out perfect thanks for the very good video 👍 ring makers you need this die for Morgan's
Great video....maybe one of your best videos....answers and helps a million questions or little problems that pop up. Thanks for sharing....I will be buying my tools from you going forward. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for a very informative video, I ordered the mega stretcher because I have had times when I needed to stretch larger, usually because I screwed up the coin. I tried extruding using the swedish wrap dies and came out with a size six. Didn't need a size six, so I stretched it back out and then reduced back to my size. It was pretty neat to see how that works. Thanks again.
I just learned that when wrapping the tape and applying coconut oil on the tape helps the ring slide down the die without the tape rolling up as you push down.
So, if I am understanding correctly, , If I had 5 SW dies small to large exit holes, using the middle SW die, if I extrude/push through a dollar coin for example, it will always be a size 8.. always. next size up we will always be a, say size 11. Then, on a push through, when the CUT side is flush with the bottom of the die, you FLIP it, reed side down, and then push it through... Am I close to being correct?
Jason I need a pro tip on how to even up the sides of a coin if I made a slightly off center punch. Because the punch was off center the folding produced a wobble. I put the coin thru the swedish wrap and that's when I noticed that one side of the coin wall was larger than its opposite side. Is there a method to grind the non reeded edged of the coin down so that the wall is even all around/ Thanks
