This was a wonderful video on how to use the Swedish Wrap method. I learned so much from watching. I appreciate how you take your time to display each step. I will definitely correct my errors because you gave sound instructions. I use the Blue Monster tape as well which is my favorite. I only attempted the blue shop towel wrap once, I wasn’t comfortable with it. Thanks again, have a wonderful New Year’s.

Nice work, Paul. I, too, usually use Blue Monster tape for my wrap material. However, on the really big brass coins or on high relief silver/copper rounds I do a couple wraps of Blue Monster and cover that with electrical tape. I'll use coconut oil as a lubricant in the die. I've used shop towels as well but found the electrical tape a little easier to manage. I also use makeup pads between the coin and pusher when using brass or aluminum pushers.

Hi Paul, I hope you see this message. I would like to know why people are so much against using the ringbearer to push. Their coin rings through when are using the Swedish wrap. Thank you a fan, TONY.

Great video as always, I keep seeing opinions of either going out the bottom or never going out the bottom of a swedish wrap. What problem would be created from going out the bottom? Have you had any yourself? Thanks!

Josh, if you swaddle or pause while pressing out the bottom, it can leave a line in the ring, but short of that, I prefer to press out as the walls of the ring are super straight and even - a great place to start shaping and final sizing....
