Chicken manure can be great for your garden...if it's contained in finished compost! Never put it directly on the garden unless it's in the fall and you won't be growing until spring. Even then, it's best composted to be sure that you don't burn the roots of your plants. Chicken manure can be processed with cold composting, hot composting, it can be made into chicken manure tea and turned into chicken manure pellets. We hot compost ours and have had great results.
