Another wonderful episode. Technically well done, well paced, interesting, informative and fun. A most pleasing hour. Four distinct personalities, four engaging viewpoints. Oh, and one of the books that greatly influenced me as to my fishing: The Curtis Creek Manifesto, by Sheridan Anderson, which I got when it came out in 1976. I was 26 at the time and had been fly fishing, or at least playing around with a fly rod, since I was 12 (1962). I still have that original copy.

Love listening to these while walkin’ the dog. I appreciate the content! Also, I appreciate the call-out to be mindful of what the fish are going through. I imagine frozen gills aren’t too comfortable.

Cold threshold: numbness in my ankles. Instant off-ramp from the stream. Gloves: Similar to Anthony, I need some warmth to the back of my hand. Similar to Mike, I need some sun protection when it's not cold. For nitrile (non-latex) gloves, my mechanic recommended Midknight gloves by Ansell. Found in most automotive repair stores. When it's temperate, you will be amazed at the amount of sweat generated by your hands. Perdigons: I use them when I know the Brookies are in a deep hole, or hugging the stream bottom. Books: 1. 'Presenting the Fly' by BVK. Written in 1990; signed in 2000. 2. 'Outwitting Squirrels' by Bill Adler, Jr. Fish can sometimes be aquatic squirrels. Riverworks carbon handle: I have a larger paw, so I like it and recommend getting your orders in before Jeff sundowns this service.

Books that arent necessarily about Tenkara that influenced my Tenkara is Paul Gaskell's "H.C. Cutcliffe Rediscovered". It has added a spectrum of technique and flies that I don't think I would have tried otherwise, but now, simply can't live without.

Haven’t looked at that one yet. But it’s on the list. Too many books too little time …
