I'm 31 returning to school. I've neglected my education far too long.

If you want to go back to college, go for it!! Seriously, it is the best decision I ever made. I spent several years wanting to go back but got caught up in life, and I was always nervous to make that kind of commitment. You can start out slow and take a class or two, part time, so you can get a feel for how it’s going to be. A lot of campuses offer online classes through their school as well, if you need help with scheduling around your daily schedule. It will go so quickly, you’ll have a degree before you know it. :) wishing you the best of luck! And congrats on your upcoming marriage!

Congrats on starting! It definitely can take a little to get use to, but it becomes the norm after so many weeks. I finally feel settled in my classes and really enjoy them. Not easy all the time, having to juggling the kids/family/classes and pursuing other things. Time management has been huge for me. Pat yourself on the back, you are doing a great thing for yourself and your future. 💗

Hahah am thinking the same. Can't be joining no student council or whatnot once i decided to go back to college this Fall.

Not at all! I’m actually Vice President of the Film Club at our school. I thought the same thing. I figured I would go to class and home, probably wouldn’t make many friends and wouldn’t be able to join things like the traditional students, but that’s far from true. Made many friends, got very involved on campus, I interned and made a short film. If you’re interested in joining a club, then join:)

A lot of time management! Haha it’s definitely hard but keeping a schedule really helps. You’d be surprised how easy it is to adjust though. Wishing you luck in the future!

Im a mom of two and 33 in college for Aerospace engineering. Got covid and hospitalized failing classes now. Engineering is the hardest major. Try studying for 5 math classes at once. 😫 but I will not give up. I feel old at university but I will make it. So glad to see other moms out there. Im not alone.

Awesome! I was scared too but I’ve learned so much more about film and television and made some great friendships. I tell everyone this, but it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my life. You’ll do great!
