I love how Maybourne always has a cool line but his delivery always makes him sound like the dorkiest of the dorks. It makes him super duper hyper adorable.

There were times where Maybourne reminded me of Colonel Flagg from MASH. He was always up to no good and made you laugh.

As time went on in the show, I grew to like maybourne after we left the military and was on the run.

If you want Grimdark in sci' fi' there's WarHammer 40,000. StarGate was [almost] always on the more optimistic, bright[ish] vision of sci' fi'.

If I remember correctly, its for a homeless guy that wanted National Geographics mags in exchange for info on who nabbed Sam. Jack was just keeping his word.
