Colonel Maybourne technically didn't lie 

Maybourne was a much better character as a frenemy.

"Actually that overwhelming desire to shoot you has come back." Jacks way of saying that no, he won't turn him in.

I always love how maybourne always has 1 little piece of information that keeps col oneill from shooting him lmao

To be fair, Maybourne was never malicious. Just unethical as fuck.

Strictly, Maybourne has always been a humanitarian, it's just that his methods differ from that of the heroes.

The dynamic between these two always made episodes featuring them some of my favourites. Chain Reaction, Desperate Measures, 48 Hours...

10M for a Symbiote is a real bargain.

He was the perfect example of a rogue spy. He acquired information, entered into every circle he could to play both sides, and of course had an absence of moral conscious. He knew how to play the game and always won.

Such a genius decided to live as a king among primates.

I loved this episode It felt very 24ish. I always loved when Harry is involved. Wish we saw more black ops/political thriller episodes on Stargate.

They really do make a great team.

Maybourne was not an evil person. Misguided perhaps, uninformed without a doubt, self important for sure, but not evil. If you really watch, he was always trying to do what he honestly thought was best to insure the safety and security his country and his planet, even if he had to bend the rules to do it. Okay, maybe his country first, but he was career military. As the series went on, he grew, learned and eventually he and Jack even became reluctant allies when the need arose. Jack even seemed to give Maybourne a certain grudging respect, if not complete trust, at the end. That change and growth was why Maybourne was one of my favorite semi-regular characters in the series. As someone else posted, "He went from being the character you loved to hate to the character you hated to love."

Good old times when to steal a digital file you had to print it.

TBH 3 mil for a symbiote seems a little low.
