I’m in Minnesota. We have power but today is the second in a row of 32 degrees below zero wind chill - 10 inches if snow day before yesterday! Treacherous!

Merry Christmas. I’m in Springfield Missouri and today we were at -9 with windchills at -26 and below . We got about 3-4 inches of blizzard snow

Linda, your New England weather is down here in Alabama....please come and get it.:) We woke up this morning to a temperature of one degree!! Thankfully no snow or ice and we have a nice warm house. Then next week it is back in the 60s. My hat is off to you hardy people who live with this all winter. Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

I'm in middle Georgia. Our power was out for about an hour today. It was 25 degrees and the wind was gusting at 30 mph. A relative two towns away also was without power. My daughter is about 60 miles south of Nashville and her power was out for several hours. She woke up to a 0 degree temp. It's going to be a LONG winter.

Well the winter storm got us. A round trip which should have taken one and a half hours took 7 hours. Too many blocked roads! Merry Christmas

6 degrees in western NC with high winds. I was so worried we would lose power since we were hosting our big Christmas dinner for family and friends. We made it through fine! Except for thousands of pine cones and lots of limbs and twigs littering the ground.

I am in Texas, zero moisture but it was down to 14 at 1:00 am this morning. My son is in Hot Springs and it was 4 when they got up this morning. We are blessed to have electricity so far and water. I am real surprised that we have not lost power due to the condition of some of the trees in our area.

West Virginia had a little snow, but, 50 mile an hour wind, and subzero windchills. We kept our electricity but the county over lost power. Everything looks as if it’s dusted with icing sugar and German glass glitter. It’s lovely. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I live in Montreal and we already got 30 cm (11 inches) of snow but we should get about the same thing in mix precipitations since the temperatures are going up and down. Since this will happen until sunday, i don't plan to go anywhere until this storm is gone. Sorry you lost power but glad at the same time that you have several fireplace to heat your space.

Linda, we live in Lancaster NY… about 25 minutes from Buffalo. It’s 7* out with wind gusts at 57 mph. All the weekend activities are cancelled. Our family knows Christmas is a season, not just a day. We’re all safe and we will celebrate after the storm. No snow plows have been through, no mail delivered. They call Buffalo & the surrounding area the City of Good Neighbors and that’s because we are use to this and everyone helps one another. So stay safe and Merry Christmas.

I'm from northern Kentucky, and yes we got Artic freeze. It got down to -10 and feels like -30. So it had been really cold. Everything stayed on, it's day after Christmas and more snow. Our friends from Nashua drove to Portland Maine to visit their son and daughter in law today. With plans on stopping in Kennebunkport to enjoy a lobster roll at Allison's and a bit of shopping at the Wimsey store. Unfortunately the roads were closed due to flooding and power outage, so they continue to Portland without any problems. Here in Southern Ontario we are having a blizzard with freezing rain,then snow with 90 km wind's!!! Husband and I are warm and cosy watching Christmas movies with our pup Finn and hoping for better weather for Christmas as family join us for Christmas dinner and my Husband's birthday!! We lost our power just for a few hours in the middle of the night, and it came back on in the wee hours of the morning, so we were very lucky …and we are just a few towns over from you. Linda we lost power this morning around 6:00 am. In Nashua near Hollis. A transformer came down by a tree or branch. Was out till 3:38 pm. All good now fingers crossed.

I hate power outages 😡. I live in a heavily wooded area and any wind or snow usually causes one. We pay professional arborists to take care of our trees, but not all of my neighbors are as conscientious. A tree fall on a vacant lot (owned by a well to do local physician) caused our last one. He lives in the city nearby…….grrrrrrr 🤬🤬🤬. Sorry for venting 😉

Just saw your last video! I am afraid you are in for a very bad storm and cold spell. Experiencing some of it right now. I loved the bead board that will be behind the stove. It's going to look great. The wallpaper didn't "turn me on" I do think it may look good in a small guest bathroom. One of the things that caught my eye the first time I watched your vlog was the board and batt you did in your former house. I just thought it was so outstanding and I was astonished when I found out you had done it. I am certain it is a great deal of work, but the effect on my TV was worth every minute of it. So rich looking. I shouldn't have shared my opinion because it is your home and you are not looking at it on a video. I have no idea how you managed to bring us so many enjoyable videos with all you are involved in and they will be missed, however, we truly understand.
