Tom Hoffman Jr. I'm going to Rome in June and have been debating bringing my Phantom 4 and attempting to get some of these shots for my personal memory video aka my friends and family on FB LOL anyway I can just use some of your footage?

Shonnel Powell sure you can. If you do bring it Italian law, I believe, requires you to carry "drone insurance". Another strange thing I noticed during flight was an unusually small signal range. I think there is just a lot of radio frequency interference.

Thanks Tom Hoffman Jr! I pre ordered the DJI Spark hoping it would get here in time to take with me instead of my P4 but it's not looking like it. Thanks for letting me use some footage if I don't take my drone. :)

Ej Esposito I didn't fly from there I was at the Circus Maximus park. The Phantom 4 is so small nobody noticed probably. I also noticed the control range is much less everywhere I flew in Italy. Not sure why other than radio signals interfering I guess. You're suppose to have insurance to fly in Italy by the way. Good luck.

What you see are underground (underneath the actual arena) cells and halls. It had some sort of wooden mat covered with sand.
