Love your content. It is teaching me so much! One thing about your analyses that is different from other info on the internet (often misinfo) is that it is consistent. I am finally understanding and able to see it working, where other sources just left me confused and borderline convinced color analysis was just bollocks. When I see your clients' after pics, the proof is in the pudding. You definitely know what you are doing! The sparkle is real!
@@carmaela2689 Why do people complain so much about various Summers, but not True Autumn? Can anything be more drab than True Autumn? I understand it's great for Autumns, but is anything honestly more drab?
@@gsartboutique1387I don’t think True Autumn is drab at all. The colours are pretty vibrant, so on the wrong person, they will look too strong, whereas Summer on the wrong person will look too weak, therefore looking drab
I have previously been analyzed and given "Soft Summer" by: 1. an online automatic color assessor, 2. online analysis by a person with some level of education in color theory, 3. online analysis by a person who doesn't have formal education in color theory but seems to have a relatively good eye for color. At first I resisted because I didn't like the super soft colors in the soft/muted palettes. Then I started seeing what the others were seeing as far as being in harmony with those colors. But when I went back and looked at my results again I still liked the True Summer colors just as much or more on me. I just was struggling with my already established bias of preferring True Summer and Cool Summer colors, so I was having a hard time telling if that was all it was, or if True Summer really *did* look better *on* me. But I've been subscribed to your channel for a little while and about a month or so ago I decided to try the online color analysis program at the International Image Institute. Some of your recent videos about hair color also pointed me away from Soft Summer (I've been ash blond since I was a teenager. It has darkened slightly over time but is still clearly blond.) So I finally got around to doing a proper virtual analysis on myself, using the colors and techniques taught by the International Image Institute, (and a better photo of myself) and I was able to conclude that I am actually a True Summer after all! It feels so much better now that everything seems to be lining up. And even though I still like Cool Winter colors the most out of any palette, the True Summer colors look and feel *right*. (Plus Cool Summer colors are no longer such a stretch if I want to wear one anyways. 😉) Thank you for your content! Videos like this one have been very helpful!
This is me! I thought I was a soft autumn before watching you. I had dark golden blonde hair in my early 20s and am now thinking I am a spring. Not sure what type. My hair is reddish brown now and I get so many compliments when I color my hair a coppery brown color. Thanks for clarifying!
I’m starting to think I’m this kind of case. My hair carries so much gold no matter what I do. I’m very fair but there’s a brightness and translucency to my skin that lets me carry more chroma. Spring is one of the palettes I immediately ruled out but I’m wondering now. I was a honey blonde kiddo in the summer and neutral gold brown in winter. As I got through puberty my hair darkened but I started coloring it late high school and through my twenties, so I didn’t know my true color until my pregnancies. I tan briefly and have freckles. Seeing my daughter has been very illuminating to me. She’s a fair little golden freckle as well.
can you make a video about all the seasons and categories? I'm getting confused about what's the different between muted and soft, also true vs warm/bright/cool/soft (autumn/spring/winter/summer) seasons, as I am used to the 12 season only
I know this is a random question , but in your opinion and hair styling experience what hair color would you consider someone who has dishwater blonde/ mousy brown? I tend to fall in between a 7 and a 6 (darkest ash blonde, lightest ash brown). I never know which color to rule out for my seasonal analysis because I’m not sure which color I’m considered to have.
Hi, i was wondering. Can you explain why Winter can’t be natural blonde? But why Katy Pery always typed as winter? Is it her makeup or lipstick makes her look “winter”? Ps: katy pery known as naturap blonde that died her hair black
Watched a vid by other creators for another system (professionals for Color Me Beautiful) and they were talking about going white and aging and it completely changing their season ... I stopped watching because I trust your judgement about the genetic component and does not change!
