Is not for older generation maybe is probably for the generation who started to watch the movie or show maybe perhaps the shows might get remade for the newest generation who knows this is way to market slowly hint hint.perhaps if they do hope is stays clean show.

An orange “flip flops” blush and a red “Roma” or “unicorn sweater” one would have done it for me! Also: I would LIVE for a That’s So Raven collection! She had the best outfits and a distinct colour palette to her show: Purples, browns, greens & oranges

Yes, this! The glitter mattes are SO hard to work with. Maybe it’s because I am late 30s and have deep set / hooded eyes, but the glitter mattes give me fits. I won’t even buy a palette that has them anymore.

I genuinely wonder if this collab was supposed to time with the Lizzie McGuire reboot that was cancelled. I could be wrong on the timing here but this collab seems super random out of context, and knowing the reboot on Disney+ was supposed to be happening and how long it generally takes to develop and manufacture a cosmetics collection, this would have been a golden branding/partnership opportunity. Perhaps after the tv show was cancelled, Disney decided to continue forward with the Colourpop collab - either because a contract had already been signed and it was too far down the pipeline to reasonably cancel, but also because Colourpop is super profitable and they know this will sell to that audience, myself included because I’m definitely the target demo for this! Maybe there were some delays after the show was delayed due to the creative differences that eventually led to the cancellation (I feel like it was originally supposed to start airing in 2020 and I know they did start filming). Anyhow, all this to say it seems a little bit too suspiciously timed be a coincidence to me. 🤔

jw, does this theory have anything to do with the actual performance and quality of these products?? or are we just talking abt the fact tht for reasons you stated, why they would still release such a collection?? i feel this is kinda gossipy for nothing- they made a deal in advance w a media giant, the media part fell through but why would they waste more time money and resources when they could still do very well selling a nostalgic, but also currently relevant line like a Lizzie Mcguire themed one?? i see no problems as long as theyre not trying to sell old or otherwise dangerous makeup to their consumers.

Idk if colourpop is reading customer sentiments anymore🙄 ... We have been complaining about putting pressed glitter in palettes and colourpop production timing pretty quick enough that could have stopped adding them to palettes from this year onwards ...but its been a year and they still keep doing it...ofc many ppl might like pressed glitters...idk, can't they just create pressed glitter singles instead of putting them in palettes!🙄 Personally, not buying anything with pressed glitters.🤷‍♀️ But that's just my humble opinion

Thanks for your review! I’m a huge fan of Lizzie McGuire and agree that they hit the nail on the head! I almost wish they would’ve centered the palette on Lizzie’s cartoon look with orange like her chunky flip flops, and the bright blue jeans, and hot pink top. But I still love the color story here. 💖

I keep seeing people not happy about the glitter and shades. But tbh I’m not mad about it because it actually goes with the “theme and time” behind the show. Like come on the show was in the early 2000s and a lot of glitter was worn, as well as butterfly clips, scrunchies, crazy hair styles and colors. I think they did I good representation of portraying the time the show was around. For me it’s nostalgic. Seeing this pallet made me excited like when I was a little girl excited to buy merch from the show. But to each their own opinion.

I am definitely the president of the 'I hate glitter' club, but in this particular case, as much as I hate to admit it, you're totally right. Body glitter was a huge trend back then and shimmer was in everything. I actually thought the lipglosses in this collection should have had more glitter in them. I mean, if your lips don't feel like sand, is your lipgloss even sparkly? lol

My issue with the glitter isn’t so much that it’s not on theme, but that the pressed glitter and sparkle matte formulas are bad. I can’t use them. They may as well be empty pans.

I agree but I still would argue they could have left the glitter out of the blushes and stayed with the body glitter, glittery gloss, or maybe a glittery eye topper as opposed to glitter in the blushes.

i love lizzie mcguire so much, i grew up watching it as i was basically the same age she was when the show started. its a fabulous collab and they did a really good job with the shades and colours in my opinion, based on what Lizzie wore in the show and so on.

i know of lizzie because my brother was obsessed with that show. i’m with theresa and personally am a “boy meets world” kinda girl. i think the palette is pretty, fun, and different. i think a “that’s so raven” would’ve been a complete hit! i’m not into the lippies, blushes, or the glitters but i do really like the palette.

Yes! The graphics and colors match the aesthetic for the cartoon character in the early seasons of the show but a lot of the names reference the movie.

Woah, a Colourpop/Disney collection I think I can actually resist. 😲 Now when I was like 12-13 and Lizzie McGuire was a thing I was really into Lizzie McGuire and Hilary Duff albums. I never really liked the cartoon depiction of Lizzie McGuire though so they don't get me with the nostalgia factor with the packaging. 😁 (This phase was quickly followed by a Lord of the Rings obsession that started in early 2004 and never really went away, I think that officially marks me growing up.)

I love this collection 😍😍😍 I’m the target audience for this nostalgic items !! it would be fantastic if would bring out a that’s so raven collection that caters to medium to deeper skin tones (because CP is condemned for not catering to deeper skin tones) This could be a start. maybe a bewitched / Sabrina spell man for Halloween. Maybe even Hannah Montana, rugarts, as told by ginger powderpuff girls, dexter, wild thorn berries, kim possible 😍 perhaps a marvel collection.

Exactly! This would have been a great collection for fans of the show... when they were kids 😂 I wish they would have done less glitter and more makeup along the lines of what Lizzie would wear now as an adult. I think the best thing they did was the palette but even that has too much glitter and those matte glitter shades are tiring.

I'm late but I had my husband make a Colourpop order for me last night. It took me over a day to decide exactly what I want... I passed on this and I kind of wish I didn't. I wasn't a huge Lizzie McGuire fan but I really like Hillary Duff. I'm 28 so I was still watching stuff like this when it came out. I just didn't get too into the show. I have kids now and I know they'd love it. I'm going to get it... Your eye look convinced me. 😁

"The show premiered in 2001.." oh God, I was 22 and I absolutely loved it.. I was thrilled beyond belief by the trailer for the Lizzie McGuire movie.. I can't really wear any of these products now but I'm ordering some as a keepsake.

I'm late to the party here, I had forgotten about this palette, but I saw it in a recent eyeshadow declutter video, she kept it, so I looked up videos. The nostalgia for me is that my son had a crush on Hilary Duff when he was young, and he always watched this show. It just takes me back to old times, also, the flowers remind me of the seventies and my sister, she had flowers all over her bedroom, folders, on her hair, etc. Hoping it goes on sale so I can add it to my collection. Love Lizzie McGuire!! I was so excited about this collab. The packaging is spot on - so cute and fun! 👌🏻 I might have gotten a blush if there was a shade for me, but oh well. The Gordo lipgloss is tempting, but I definitely don't need a clear gloss. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Very cute collection, though!

I expected the packaging to be all "pink bubble gum & glitter", but I thought the actual products would be more wearable.

I'm so disappointed there's a glitter in the palette! I think i would have bought it if that wasn't there 😕 I suppose it's a good thing for my bank account! Btw, love the eye look! Xx

I'm in the same boat. I was 14 and while I watched a few episodes and the movie, I just never really got into it. The palette looks really fun, though. I do have a friend who's a few years younger than me who was a big fan of the show and is really excited about this collection. I just sent her the link to this video so she can get early look. Never really got to watch Lizzie McGuire cause I didn’t have cable growing up, but I remember getting the CDROM games in my kids meals so I’m still a little excited . Definitely disappointed in the blushes tho especially cause I have darker skin :/ Thanks for all the work you do, hope you have a good week! 💜✨

I used to love the scent of bubblegum but I think I overdid it as a kid 😂 I’m so excited for the palette though! They did a good job with the color story. Thanks for all your hard work. ❤️

I like the colors of the palette. It’s fun, and seems unique to them, like you showed not having a bunch of different comparisons...but the ones you had were surprisingly similar!! I agree about the blushes too!!

Aww my Sister loved Lizzie, it's a really cute theme but I think I'll be passing on this one. I have the Sailor Moon palette and they look similar. By the way I love watching your tutorials Amanda and.. I'm also a middle aged woman lol I can relate. 💜😅

I absolutely adored lizzie Mcguire as a kid and cannot wait to get my hands on the pallete. I do wish they had done a matching neon liner set to go with the palette instead of the body glitter and maybe their roll on tube lip glosses without the glitter for more nostalgia with the collection. I also completely agree with your blush suggestions I don't like the blushes they did for the collection, but Orange and purple would have been such a cute addition to my collection but this chunky glitter formula I don't really know who enjoys pronounced chunky glitter on their face in 2021.. Get it together colourpop
