Irsay doesn't like to party, he has an addictive personality and just look at the shirt he was wearing in the news clip you used and you can tell that arrest happened over 10 years ago. He's wearing an Affliction shirt for crying out loud so you know that wasn't yesterday. He had a drug addiction and he beat it so people should be applauding him, not using it as a way to make fun of him. After he beat the addiction he decided to double down on the very legal habit of collecting rare items and he now hits the auction block harder than anyone and has amassed one of the greatest music/ pop culture/history collections ever assembled. JT willingly signed his rookie contract so he is contractually obligated to play for Indy and once he passes his physical he will either play or get fined every day until he runs out of money and is forced to play. Irsay has no reason to trade him at this point because no one is going to give up good draft capital and sign JT to a lucrative contract. Everyone needs to understand that the NFL is a business and Irsay is the person in the right here.

Do you do any research? Multiple statements were wrong that are easy to check and verify. Irsay never tweeted that quote. He was talking to Indy writers pretty casually, and his point was that the league is bigger than him and any player. Reading it out of context definitely makes it seem weirder than listening to the conversation though. Also, just seems unnecessarily mean to bring up his addiction from almost 10 years ago. By all accounts, the dude has stayed clean and donated a lot of money for mental health awareness.

I will say this for sure. I definitely believe more in Steichen and Richardson than I ever did in Reich and Ryan. So you have no where to go but up when you move on from a washed up QB and HC who clearly lost his team and never properly prepared them on a week to week basis.

Colts fan here, you have to play him makes no sense to draft a player that high and not, he has all the physical traits you want, just work on the things he needs to get better, he is qb 1 unless he gets hurt or just fails miserably

Irsay's comment was stupid and shouldn't have been added to the back-and-forth going on. But he was right that the league goes on no matter who is there. That's life: "All glory is fleeting."

In his three drives against a really good defense, he has a receiver drop a long TD pass and could have potentially had a rushing TD if there wasn’t a penalty/missed block. The rushing TD was a little less certain. I am sure that he is going to have some terrible plays like his opening drive interception, but his ceiling is crazy. He also shook off the interception and maintained his confidence on subsequent drives. He is going to need to continue to show he can shake off bad plays. If they sniff the playoffs this year, Shane is coaching his ass off. The Colts need to be ok with the possibility of 3-5 wins. There isn’t a QB on their roster that makes them a lock for more than ~ 7 wins anyways, so giving AR a shot makes sense. If it fails after a few years, this wouldn’t be a difficult roster to blow up for a rebuild.

Josh McDaniels bailing on the Colts had nothing to do with Andrew Luck retiring. Wth are you even saying? The McDaniels thing was in 2018. Luck retired just before the 2019 season. He played a year under Reich and had a great year. Also, bringing up someone's battle against addiction and saying they like to "party" is bush league. Take a look in the mirror before you create these YT videos. Had to come back and add that this video could've been cut in half. The first half of the video is literally pointless.

If I had the owner's type of money, I would party too, but it doesn't require me to get drunk or high. All I want is women, and money provides plenty of those. I like the teams starting the rookies and have never been a believer in letting them sit. Marino did just fine as a starting rookie

The thing is everyone knew including Anthony Richardson himself that he wasn’t ready to start in the NFL and now he’s Trippin and he’s thrown in that position to not be able to learn something after only starting 15 games in college. Like really said if they utilize him as a mostly run quarterback that might be his ticket to learn and start at the same time. Hopefully doesn’t instill bad habits in him. I thought Seattle should’ve drafted him. He would’ve had a great learning experience under Pete Carroll
