Great videos. My problem with the corner heads is two fold... for the life of me I can’t get it to work for wiping the tape after rolling the inside corner. It just crumples it up and rips it off the wall. I just roll them and wipe down by hand. Secondly, all the vids on RU-vid say two coats and you’re good.. I’ve needed three every time. Still faster and better results than by hand but I find myself coating the inside corners on smaller jobs by hand because I can do them in two coats.
When you start to run the angle head if you start at the very end you'll likely run into the tape crumpling. All you do is start out slightly further from the corner and finish the 3 way corner by hand. Maybe you're not pressing hard enough on the roller?
I bought a used colombia corner box and the gasket is sealing fine but it's actually too tight, it won't push correctly, super sticky, I put some wd40 to make it slide better, it helped but it's still a really tight fit. Any ideas? If I buy a new gasket will it for sure fix the problem?
What I want to know why any of you can't make a extendable handle that doesn't bend when you extend it mine doesn't go in and out smooth it's really hard to shorten it
The Columbia handle shown in video is very rigid. I found the adjustment pin can stick from unseen mud residue, making it hard to adjust. The answer is use a bristle brush and clean water on it after use. Also some lubricant right on the pin.
Presentations are for good looking people regardless of what time of work your tools are black and your shirts so don't present beautiful tools full of mud I never ever ever get my handles dirty only rookies do that
