Tips:
There is one permission in the S7-1200 CPU property, activate "permit access with put/get communication from the remote partner". Activate, compile and download the CPU. If you have trouble on the KEPSererEX data connection, you could try this.

Hi quick question, would this work for a HMI OPC UA client? I'm integrating a Siemens Tp700 comfort onto a OPC UA server and it would be great to some testing on a software like this to learn how it works and get a better view of the communications. Thank you so much!

Please search the manual of 'KEPServer connects SQL' from KEPSever website. Then use the ""Variable Bridge" to exchange the channel for PLC data and channel for SQL

Hi, typically it would be two ways: 1. use OPC software e.g. Siemens SIMATIC NET - OPC Server, or KepServerEX. 2. using S7-1200/1500 as a bridge, S7-1200/1500 can communicate with S7-300 via Profinet IO or S7 communication TCP/IP.

You properly missed some configuration, please check from 11:30 to 22:40. Also check the 6:30.

Yes, please check the17:00 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KwS7_CyI0r4.html, there is a setting for each variable "Client Access: Read/Write", the variable set with Read/Write or write will be available to be modified at the Client and the PLC data will be modified.

@@electricalautomation thank you sir. I have 1 more question. Can we monitor PLC data without putting it in a Data Block (DB)? Currently I have a counter in the main program and I want to monitor the current count value, which I set as MW10. So can MW10 be put on Kepware? Tks in advance

Hey I did exactly same steps shown in the video. I am using PLCSIM advance 2.0sp1, TIA portalv16 and kepserver ex6. But the quality of the tags showing up in opc client and matrikon is "bad". I am unable to find any work around please help.

You can try to use two laptops one for PLCSIM Advanced, one for Kepserver. Turnoff the windows firewall. Also try to use higher PLCSIM Adv revision. V2.0 is slightly old. It is V4.0 now.
