@@sheeplord4276 been long since I read the patch about it (on Steam). Basically you start lvl30 and choose upgrade from a pools of 3 each time until you have 30. Allow the player to test more build and skip the early boring part

I agree! DF really needs to do a proper drone build, and I'm sure he'd have tons of fun with a gunless run with either Firefly to burn everything or Hullbreaker to ram stuff into pieces.

If you play it yourself you might actually get to experience the late game bosses at some point kekW. I really like df and his videos but there's just missing skill.

Oh, they KNEW what they were doing. Perhaps this was merely all a ruse to get back at the very bosses they designed. I mean, they went and cursed the poor guys too. It makes them stronger, but I can't imagine it is nice being cursed otherwise.

My thoughts exactly. They are fine for DF to do. But play "proper" games with at least equal frequency. Is what I would suggest. Some days, we get the mobile game of the week. Alternating days, some half-decent "actual game" instead. I put to quotes to avoid insulting every mobile game, since there are no doubt some decent ones that come of trying to get around the limitations and make a decent or better game. But most of them are crap, lets be honest. You have to develop pretty well to make a good game on a system that is literally just a touchscreen, because controls are actually a thing. And well, this is DF we are talking about. He can make a CLICKER fun to watch with his commentary and (editor's) editing. We could alternate between proper games and one-offs to random clickers and his channel would be awesome. *That said, I must say... It is the times he plays an actually good game that I find particularly interesting sometimes. In part because they do in fact make me want to try it sometimes. Undermine, Neon Abyss, Vampire Survivors, and even the occasional "throw-away bucks" like Luck Be A Landlord. The reason I purchased all these games is, frankly, DF showing across multiple videos that there is fun to be had here. And well, the fact that DF DID more than 1-2 videos on them would seem to indicate that they are fairly decent games.

@@SephirothRyu well said. I agree I don't mind watching. I watch because I like the edits and commentary. I just prefer something he can actively work to break or affect in some way. Idle games, yea sure it's a clicker game and maybe uses an auto, yes sure he lets it run and buys tons of stuff or drops a few dollars. Kind of the same old formula. Of course, if it's something he enjoys keep doing it. Don't cater away from what you enjoy. I'd be a hypocrite requesting what I enjoy more and demanding the opposite of the creator I like watching. All that being said, I admit I'm the quick-load, "is there another weirder way I can do this..." type of gamer, so his non-clicker - non-idle games scratch that itch a lot more than the phone games I just don't enjoy myself. All a brand of personal taste and as long as he sticks around and gives me a chuckle I'm happy lol
