I'm not Mormon, but listening to a message taken from the Book of Mormon peaked my interest. You guys were very enjoyable. Sharing the Gospel in a way that I haven't heard before. I loved the message and the testimony. I can see and feel the love and conviction that each of you have for Jesus Christ. It was a very reassuring message.

Mark, thank you for being a fellow Christian. If you loved their teaching style, you should watch their teaching of the New Testament from last year. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, each year in Sunday School, we study a different book of scripture. Last year, the course of study was the New Testament. I loved Emily and David's insights on a beautiful book of scripture about the Savior's mortal ministry and the ministry of his apostles following his death and resurrection.

This thought came to me as I listened the other day: Names do not usually show up on your cell phone if they are not already in your contact list. Your dream shows that you already KNOW Jesus Christ and have already added Him to your contacts because you communicate with Him often.

Wow. I didn't think I would have been so touched by this, I honestly came here because of Lindsey but the whole lesson made me feel something new in my heart...I've been away from my church for years (Christian church) because I didn't feel anything about the way God was celebrated but this is really different

By their fruits ye shall know them...Matthew 7:15-20. That feeling you got when you watched this video was the Spirit of God. I invite you to pray to know if the things you were taught are true. Then get a copy of the Book of Mormon and read it, pray about it and find out for yourself it is true. Don't take anyone else's word for it!

I was in the same place where I didn’t feel good enough to return to church. I gained a personal testimony of God’s love for me, went about to coming back and it was a step by step process but I was guided and God provided everything for to achieve my goal of going back to church and feeling happiness. I urge to to act on those food feelings and pray for help and you will receive what you need to help you in your personal journey.

Can you Mormons explain why does the bible tells us that the children of Israel all 12 tribes are black people , And that Judah Benjamin and Levi are the African American Negros and we can prove it from the bible , And that means that the book of Mormon is nothing but a false doctrine

So I was thinking about the question you guys mentioned which was "Why a Tree" Obviously trees are essential to us in a number of ways firstly for the air we breathe and then for food. This made me remember a quote I had seen which said "Science says that we need at least 4 basic elements to survive - 1, Water 2, Air 3, Food 4, Light. And look what the scriptures say about Christ. I am the living water, I am the breath of life, I am the bread of life, I am the light of the world. Thinking of this in perspective of the Tree in 1 Nephi 11:25 it calls the tree of life the fountain of living waters. The tree produces the air to allow us to breathe, provides the food we need from it's fruit and is described as being a tree of light in the fact of it being a whiteness that did exceed the whiteness of the driven snow. All four of the basic elements are covered by the tree of life for our spiritual survival. xxxx

This morning as I read my scriptures and then listened to this week’s “Don’t Miss This, I was overwhelmed by the love I felt from my Savior. I had been feeling a little low and somewhat frustrated as to things in my life. Then as I listened to the three of you, tears began rolling down my cheeks and I felt such a strong Spirit surrounding me and I knew without a shadow of a doubt that even in my weakest moments my Savior loved me and was aware of me. Then at the end when Lindsey Sterling played “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” accompanied by Emily, I once again shed tears as I felt my Savior’s love and understanding. Thank you for sharing your testimonies and bringing the Spirit into my home through your example and love of the scriptures and our Savior.

I was thinking how thankful I was for them teaching in the prison also! I have a son who is in prison in Arizona and am SO grateful for those who go in and teach him on Sundays. I printed out copies of the Take Five scriptures/challenges and sent them to him. I told him I will print and send them every week so this is something we can do together. I love the quote by President Nelson in the first lesson this year where he says, “I promise that as you daily immerse yourself in the Book of Mormon, you can be immunized against the evils of the day, even the gripping plague of pornography and other mind-numbing addictions.” Many of those in prison are there as a result of addictions. We all need to be immunized against evil! What an amazing promise!

I am so thankful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I was a convert , it is not easy to just accept invitation specially if you are active in the group wete you are, i was so active in the Catholic Church where i came from. But since that time i feel somthing missing that i am not contented. When i heard the teaching of the lds missionry , i love what they are teaching, At first i always discussed with missionary. But i love they teaching. When we went in our lesson about baptism, i said i will not be baptize for i am already baptized. I told the missionary, " one faith one baptism" ,i will only listen to learn your lesson. Elder Caceres said to me , " can we kneel down sister and we will pray"? So we kneel down & told me, " can you lead the pray"?. I said yes, this what I my prayed, surprised why i said at: " Heavenly Father i'm so thank ful for the coming of these missionary to teach us mold me what you want me to be. My prayer in of Jesus Christ Amen. "

I took your prompt to ponder what I learned about Jesus, and this experience came to my mind. My two year old was refusing to say his prayers and when he did I thought they were very irreverent because he said them all in gibberish, when he can speak very well and clearly. I tried a number of methods to get him to pray the correct way but nothing worked so I finally prayed and asked “what can I do to him to pray the right way?” Heavenly Father told me “ I love him so much the way he is and I understand gibberish”.

I'm dying laughing at the mid-speaking phone call Emily gets in this episode. And the idea that it could be from Christ. It reminds me of one time (a long time ago when we used caller ID on our landlines) and my phone announced that "the Church of Jesus Christ" is calling. For a brief moment I was paralyzed at a flash through my mind of my past deeds and sins. It freaked me out until I realized a clerk was calling me from within the building (that still had a land line). good times!

David, Emily and Lindsey, you out did yourself today. I felt the Holy Spirit so powerful, it felt like a lump in my throat because of the emotions I was feeling. Thank you! Not only was the message beautiful the music was stunning and I truly felt the spirit of the Lord with me. Until the Christmas concert I had no idea who Lindsey Sterling was, but after that Christmas concert I have been following Lindsey, you are so beautiful, and I pray for your happiness. You have such a beautiful spirit, thank you for sharing your testimony with us! A really great book for anyone wondering about loved ones who have graduated on to the next phase of the eternal progression: The Message by the late Lance Richardson the book was written by his wife and children after he passed taken from his writings after his near death experience. You will learn that it is much like our earthly experience, just elevated. You will feel so much closer to your friend and father at least I have. I can relate to your story of France, not exactly, but close. Our son-in-law Antoine Nedelec is from France, he is n award winning violinist & maker. Actually he is the director of a violin making school in Chicago. I love the thought that when we let the Master into our lives we can become more beautiful than we are by ourselves. Thank you again Lindsey, David & Emily!!!

I’m a dreamer too! And they are very symbolic, every piece inspired. And I think there’s more to your dream. The boy, although being homeless, didn’t ask for food, he asked about your church. He was in need of spiritual nourishment, not just physical. You immediately started making the sandwiches. That was not you neglecting his desires. You desired to feed him spiritually so you made a sandwich with ALL the fixings...all the parts of the gospel you fed him...and they were plentiful and great and delicious! And yes, you ARE very good at teaching the gospel, just like you thought you were really good at making the sandwiches. You had fancy wrapping and twine like a professional company...just like what you e done here with this program you’ve made, reaching out to the world to teach the gospel, carefully wrapped in your study helps and books. I believe your heart was in the right place. So don’t be mad at yourself. You shared the gospel sandwich with him!

Thank you for this! I can totally relate to the drowning feeling. Oddly enough, my dad drowned when I was 6 years old (he was serving as a youth conference leader & went missing on a river activity). Then last year, my little sister passed away. She died a slow, painful, & disfiguring cancer death. She was also a very talented violinist & even played in the Orchestra at Temple Square. I lost my best friend. About a year ago, I was also hospitalized after some prescribed antibiotics almost killed me, & my husband was almost left to raise 6 little kids on his own. I’ve had a lot of recent trauma, to say the least! It’s been a tough year & that SAME picture of Christ speaks to me deeply as well. I know he knows me & is aware of me. I also know my father, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, & friends I’ve lost are also ministering angels & can very much be involved in our lives. Thanks for the reminders!! Love you all!💗🎻

I thought that too! But with the pearl of great price. What I also loved was that the sandwiches were perfect, beautiful, and complete. Everything you (she) needed was there for her. She could “fed his sheep” with all that they need. The phone call is so many things but one of them to me is just a continuation of the sandwiches. That is how he talks to us, through the scriptures. The phone is just a device that we recognize today as a type of communication device.

Come Thou Fount... my favorite. Thank you so much, Lindsey and Emily. It was so beautiful! Kind of like, Jesus Christ is the fountain of every blessing, like Ch 11 is all about him as the Savior and Redeemer. This quote is from April 30 2018 by Dustin Phelps at happiness-seekers.com. Now you see why I was jumping for joy at the wonderful song you blessed us with, and how it went with Ch 11...."see Eben-Ezer has special significance, There was a time recorded in the Old Testament when an enormous Philistine army was invading Israel. The force that stood against Israel was completely overwhelming. Things got so bad that the people realized that they were doomed to destruction if the Lord did not intervene. Realizing this, the people went to the Prophet Samuel and begged him to plead with the Lord to spare their lives. Samuel did so and the Lord intervened. With the Lord’s help, the outnumbered Israelite soldiers were miraculously able to defeat the Philistine armies. On the battlefield, while the victory was still fresh in the minds of the people, Samuel erected a monument and called it “Eben-Ezer” (which means “Stone of Help”). And then he declared the significance of the monument: “Hitherto has the Lord helped us.” You see, Samuel was concerned that the people would forget how they had won. He was worried that they might take credit for the victory. The Prophet wanted the people to never forget that they had only defeated their enemies because of the Lord’s help. And if they were to hope for His blessings and protection in the future, they needed to continue relying on Him. Incidentally, if you’ve ever heard the beloved hymn “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing”, you may have wondered what the author meant when he wrote: ”Here I raise my Ebenezer. Hither by Thy help I’m come.” End Quote.

So...I’m the Gospel Doctrine facilitator in my ward. I LOVE MY CALLING and am going on my third year. I read a lot, I listen to lectures a lot, I have watched many videos and listen to many videos. Your feed along with others have enriched my daily studies, understanding and testimony. I am a mail man and I plug in my headphones as soon as I get to work and for the next 5-7 hours all I do is listen to Book of Mormon lectures and videos. I have listened to your show for a bout a year now and this is one of the three that made me stop my mail duties and just bawl my eyes out. I truly truly felt the presence of the spirit as you all bore your testimonies. I have read that poem many times and there was never a time when I could finish it without getting emotional. Memories of my then 9 year old daughter reciting that poem for a Christmas program and won first prize came flooding back. And then you had to go and open the flood gates with the amazing Lindsay playing my most favorite hymn, “Come thou fount”. Today has been a very Blessed day. It was exactly what I had asked the Lord for in my prayer last night before I went to bed. Teaching 1 Nephi 8-10 this Sunday will most certainly have extra flavor to it having added spirit of next week’s lesson by listening to this. God bless you all, and God bless Lindsay always for her firm testimony and grip on the iron rod amidst her profession of many temptations, as do ours I love you guys and thank you for your spirit and love of the gospel

He is very good about developing the world and how situations and circumstances became springboards for their leaving and as instructed by God. There are also the 37 BYU Book of Mormon discussions for the 1990/2000s. Those are treasures for some amazing insights. There are many others with Come follow Me videos. These two are great also and provide great connections to the classes with their experiences and stories. Have a great time studying, I writing to you while listening to this lecture from Hugh Nibley ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k6PSfvbDgMk.html

Thank you ever so much for this, I just stumbled upon this video and have found this a brilliant way to study on a Sunday afternoon. It's not easy when you are on your own and trying to understand everything that I study, this has made the process so much better. I love the way you have shared the Gospel, it just struck a cord and makes perfect sense to me. I will keep checking in with you each week, this is such an awesome tool. May you be blessed for your amazing way of touching someone's heart and up lifting them and open their mind to another way of learning. Thank you this is appreciated.

I was so touched by this presentation today. I was reading in John 14:6 where Jesus said, "I am the way, the the truth, and the life..." I finally made the connection that in Lehi's dream, there was a path (representing "the way"), a rod of iron (representing "the truth"), and a tree (representing "the life"). They were literal representations of Christ.

Emily, the Lord call you to THANK YOU because you DID fed the boy... and you gave him THE BEST YOU HAVE.... the food are symbols of the word of god.... he use food to symbolize his gospel and and himself!!! His body/bread His blood/water, fruit, fishes, so all that food your saw in your dream ... is the knowledge of the gospel you have and you share it with his children that we are represented with this boy... i got that feeling when I was listening your story. This is my humble, opinion... I am a nobody, but I really felt the lord call you to THANK YOU. I want to thank you because you are really giving me a delicious spiritual food. BTW I loooove a good delicious sandwich...

Emily, you can talk about Kris all you want! She is such an inspiration to me! We lost a beautiful spirit in her passing, but gained the most beautiful angel! I know I will miss her not only her humor, but also her great spirituality. I have come to realize that not only did Christ suffer for our sins collectively, but also individually. He shared Kris’ physical pain every step of the way. He shared the homeless man’s hunger and freezing fingers. He shared Lindsey’s pain in losing her father. And he shares all our heartaches and our joy in a very personal way! I don’t know how it was done, but I know that we are never alone!

Wow, Lindsey was a great addition to this lesson! What a fun surprise! I love to hear that she's a Sunday school teacher like I was, it makes her so down to earth and relatable. Thank you for sharing your deeply personal spiritual experiences, Lindsey. My spirit leaped at certain parts you shared, especially the church experience in France. Yes! I have had my own "little church in France experience" as I've traveled and attended wards throughout the world, where they know nothing about me personally, and yet - I got exactly what I desperately needed at that time. Tender mercies of the Lord are such poignant and loving ways that Heavenly Father gives us to keeps us going, aren't they? I'm so grateful to you three! Thank you so much for teaching us!

Lindsay, I loved your story at the end of this video. I have had so many experiences like yours and what I have learned is that God is so aware of us and if we just do what we can, he will always make up the difference. Despite not knowing the language you got the message that you needed that day. Your story touched me and I felt that truth being verified to me once again. Thanks so much for sharing that.

Love that you invited Lindsey, I've got to follow her now too, what a beautiful message and the three of you were guided by the spirit because the lesson and music really taught me things I've never thought of or knew until now. I can't tell you how many times I've read, learned etc., Lehi's dream but I never knew until now what it actually meant. Thank you a thousand times you three wonderful people for sharing your stories, your testimonies and your love with us, I hope you plan to teach for the next 50 years!! I just loved this video so much. First as I have read both Lehi and Nephi’s vision I thought about it this way. Lehi was the star of his vision. Nephi was in the audience with some one on each side of him explaining the movie. I loved how your guest talked about angels. When you read the poem The Touch of the Master’s hand I had an angel with me, my dad. That poem was one of my father’s favourites. He could recite it and often did. One of my sisters recited it at his funeral many years ago. I have been sitting here weeping with the joy of the love of my earthly father and my heavenly father. Thank you so much for these videos. I live in Ontario, Canada.

My son is recovering from surgery to remove his cancer, as we start the journey of his healing. The sweet priests from our ward just stoped by to administer the sacrament to us (meeting is where we are), and I’m sitting in this Sunday afternoon listening to your lesson with my DMT study journal. One specific message that fills my heart as Lindsey plays is this “let Christ’s love soothe your soul” Thank you for your lessons and may anyone reading this know that the Savior’s love truly is the never ending fount.

It was like Christmas when I saw Lindsey on here! I have loved sharing what I have learned with my son and all those I come into contact with. I did not know the truth of these teachings when I first started attending church but I knew what I felt when I was there! It was the only place I felt peace...I was surrounded by the Spirit and I knew that it was where I needed to be! As I strived to be my best I found strength in uplifting music...Lindsey is who I immersed myself in when I needed strength! I have hummed this song to myself (and all those around me) for 3 days now...best song ever to get stuck in your head!! I know that God Loves Me! I know that God has a plan for Me! His love and forgiveness fills me with joy and awe! I know that my son and I will be an Eternal Family one day!
