Superb. Thank you for providing me with a broadened, deepened and more nuanced understanding of our own and others epistemology. I love the parable of the Prodigal Son. Thank your for the compare and contrast with Korihor's final state and the concluding "thus we sees". This is the best 1 hour I have spent in the summary of the (eternal) tension between belief and skepticism. A very satisfying balance of the major players in our western cultural engagement in this ancient debate. The Otto quotes are new to me and excellent. The dynamic between true believers and true skeptics (of which Korihor was not), their struggles, worldviews, and interaction, is very helpful. These are great tools as we seek learning by study and also by faith.

Our family has found great strength through these videos. Our family had a marvelous and powerful discussion in our "Come Follow Me" lesson this week. We watched this video prior to our home Sacrament meeting and we found the power of the spirit was strong as we were able to tie in insights from this video with our lesson and everyone was awake and involved in the conversation. Thank you....Keep up the amazing and wonderful work!

Sometime could you discuss the details of payment of ministry in the Church? I think I get the construction workers and temple architects. Also, the assistance given to some missionaries and stipends to general authorities. Institute directors and seminary teachers, I don’t understand. I presume they are not paid from tithes but that is just my guess.

Br Halverson, In the story of Korihor I see the same person per say as Alma was when he was destroying the church. I don't understand why Alma did not share his story about what happened to him and that an angel warned him of his own destruction if he continued. Maybe there is discretion in who to share your story with, but it seemed it might have helped Korihor. It sure couldn't have hurt. Alma must have felt it would not help because he did not. We all seem to wonder who to share our conversion story with in hope that it will help others.

It seems that Korihor is doing that of which Abinadi was accused.

I've been asked that in order to know god who is divine we have to be divine ourselves. How do I answer?

Is that your family picture hanging on the wall to your left?

I have a difficult time with this in these modern times when the brethren make more money on living allowance even after they take off expenses, than my family (husband and wife both working with children to support) will ever make in a year. How can I explain that to my non-member friends? They claim that -that is paid clergy.
